Misfit Society Coffee Club

Such an amazing newer gem to the Ann Arbor coffee scene. It's right on campus tucked in a small corner. Their name might say misfit but their coffee definitely is appropriate for the amazing coffee culture in AA. I was recommended the iced "Sugar Daddy" which was their brown sugar coffee. It did not disappoint! House made syrups with a deep espresso coffee for that amazing pair of flavor; not too sweet and not too coffee ish.

After seeing solid reviews of MSCC, my friend and I stopped by this past Friday for coffee after lunch. The interior is pretty sizable with lots of students camping at any table space available to get work done. The baristas here are really nice and accommodating (I made a switch to a different latte after I placed my order and they were able to do it with no issue).PEANUT BUTTER JELLY LATTE - 5.50The latte adds peanut butter ganache and strawberry for its flavoring. I got the hot version and my friend got the iced. We both thought the flavor was lacking -- could definitely use more of both peanut butter and strawberry. My friend couldn't really taste the strawberry jam in his. I typically don't like my lattes too sweet, but the PBJ flavor was pretty underwhelming.They have very unique lattes here for sure. I would recommend at least trying it once to see if you like the drinks. Good study spot at a convenient location! I wish coffee spots like MSCC existed when I was a student.

Fantastic coffee spot in Ann Arbor, I got a Lavender latte- delicious and so well done. The interior looks like a great spot to study or hang out. The staff were patient and friendly, answering any questions we had about the menu. Love the theme too. The prices are really good for AA, highly recommend!

I'm a big fan of the Misfit group, which also runs Social Misfits and The Foolery in Grand Rapids, where I live. I knew they had a coffee shop in Ann Arbor but hadn't been in to check it out until recently. I was in between shifts and needed a pick me up as well as a spot to get some work done, and Misfit Society was the perfect spot.I was able to get a metered street parking spot right out front, and was welcomed in right away. The menu includes some fun latte options like a PB&J latte! I asked for a recommendation and went with the powder puff latte, which has orange & cinnamon-cayenne syrup. The latte was really good and I liked that the syrup actually had a bit of a kick to it. I didn't taste a ton of orange but I enjoyed this unique latte.They also serve some food and pastries, and there is plenty of room to spread out and work. Outlet arrangement didn't seem super optimal, but I'm sure you can plug in near a table if you ask nicely. I hung out for a couple of hours and even had to take a work call - luckily it wasn't very busy. I did notice that the wifi seemed a little slow at times, but I was still able to use Yelp and email, etc. I loved that the music was quiet and ambient. I'm really glad I got to check out the third member of the Misfits family and will definitely be back in the future.

Only the coolest place around to get some work done while drinking an Iced PB & J Latte!Every time I've stopped in here, I've been greeted by someone ready to recommend something different than the coffee shops down the street. Craving a little spice? Then you must try the Powder Puff Latte with orange and cinnamon-cayenne syrup. Need something to eat? There's always something new rotating through. I love watching the barista craft my coffee with their homemade syrups while my eyes wander to their eccentric seating area. There's lot of a table space (and lighting) to get some work done, and I'm slightly jealous that this didn't exist when I lived nearby as a student. I love how you can completely express yourself here, too. The "potty mouth" talk on the walls amongst some unique retail merchandise, mixed with colorful graffiti artwork and suede-backed chairs... I feel like nobody can judge me here while I sip my cool coffee and listen to my tunes. Definitely a welcomed addition to the South U neighborhood!

Such a cute and fun cafe! Really love the vibe in here. Staff is super friendly and very helpful. I've so far stuck to their standard drinks like matcha lattes and americanos but definitely excited to try out more of their menu since they have some fun drinks especially some of their lattes. Their matcha latte is delicious and so well balanced! Can't recommend them enough! It's ambiance make it such a good hang out spot!

We stopped here for Lattes and their PBJ donuts. They have an unusual selection of lattes , but what we had were very tasty. They also have more conventional coffee drinks. We had a PBJ Latte which had a slight PB flavor with sweetness from the jam (stir it well). The Lavender latte had a slight lavender flavor, and the Mayan mocha was also good but needed stirring. The PBJ donut has a very peanut buttery frosting and it's filled with jelly. Tasty, but big and rich. Friendly staff.

This coffee shop has such a cool, fun vibe. Most of the tables were taken by students studying. I tried the sugar daddy latte which was pretty good but slightly almost burnt flavor. I'd come back to try other menu items.

Delicious oatmilk matcha. Super comfy and eclectic atmosphere. Great spaces to study, chill, or catch up with a friend. Friendly staff and comparable prices to other coffee shops in the area.

I love this place! Such a cute store, and the drinks are amazing. I love all the events that they host. Great place to study or meet up with a friend or colleague. The lavender latte is the best!
