Mini Mart Specialty Meats

I found this while looking for a good butcher. This is a small, humble but mighty little shop. There isn't the biggest variety of cuts but the meat is very good quality and good prices for the quality. There is a decent frozen seafood section as well as a variety of condiments, baking items, ingredients that you may need. There is not a big produce section.Everyone was so nice and friendly. I got prime rib, thick slabs of bacon, kielbasa, and a tbone. The prime rib and bacon was sooo good.

I was very pleased with my 1st trip to a meat market in Detroit. I was in search of one item "Turkey Chops" and by the end of my spree I purchased more Turkey items that I was pleased with. This market was SUPER busy on a Sunday around 130pm and sort of Chaotic but they use a number pulling system that helped ease my anxiety of knowing I will not be fighting for next in line! Try the Turkey pastrami and Swiss cheese for Hoagies at home it will be worth the trip.

The service here is extraordinary! The store is neat and everything is easy to find! They even helped me carry my groceries to my car. This will be my new go to Market.

I absolutely love this place, friendly staff, they're knowledgeable and very helpful. I always leave here with the biggest smile on my face from either laughing at jokes or simply the kindness of the staff. The cashier walked me out to my car last evening, my hands were full and it was dark out, I really appreciated that!

Love this meat market! Being that I know longer live in Detroit whenever we are in Detroit we always make a special stop. This time we came in to grab some of their red hot sausages. They are the best around. This place has been around forever and is my families go to meat market right in the heart of the neighborhood. It has been newly updated on the outside and there is always plenty of parking.

Mini Mart Specialty Meats was recommended to me by a co-worker. I was looking to purchase chitterlings. I called the store and I spoke with Jim who assured me his stores chitterlings were the best and clean. He was right! On 12/16 I entered the store. Met Jim and purchased 25lbs. Check out was quick and the bagger even carried my purchase to my car. Jim was correct, there was very little cleaning to be done. This store has a very friendly and helpful staff. There assortments of various and popular meats is awesome. Thanks Jim for a wonderful 1st time experience and I will be back!!!

Selections are awesome and they have a nice selection of fresh meat. Store is clean and customer service is great!

Only reason one star rating on my last visit two employees, work ethic is less to be desired, one was on his phone while cutting my cheese and touch both items he denied but I seen for myself and the other guy was distracting him from doing his job talking to him while using the N word threw out is Convo, I found it very offensive due to his ethnicity, he threw the N word around I find that to be very disrespectfully.

They have served the Detoit NW community for many years. Excellent meats, service and staff. Thank you for staying in Detriot and offering quality food at fair prices!
