Food is excellent especially the baked bread . Their egg plant parm s one of my favorites.Ambiance is a nice lil place just hoped they had a lil sitting area to enjoy coffee and a snack .Service if we order online the pickups are faster but incase we have to order in person the wait time is 10 to 15 mins which s manageable. But a must try and make it our local fav as the food and drink and snacks are wonderful compared to the big brand coffee shops

Gave this place a try recently. I saw a lot of people post about gelato. I did not try Genaro but I ordered the eggplant sandwich. It amazing. I loved how the eggplant was breaded and cooked. I loved the bun. I'm really picky about breads. I would order this every time! The place is clean. The staff is wonderful. They have a pretty big lunch menu. If you are looking for good Italian check it out.

Pizza is authentic and pasta is so good. If you want to eat $5 hot and ready pizzas and pasta from a can, this place is NOT for you. Restaurant is clean, ingredients are top notch and always fresh.

The food here is way too good for a little carry out place. For real, it's nearly as good as the meals cooked by my grandmother, who was born on a wagon a dozen miles south of Palermo. I'm not sure why they feel the need to put pesto on their chicken parm subs, but I forgive them. Just ask them to put it on the side.

I am so happy they came to South Lyon. The food is out of this world!!! The staff are great and super friendly. We just had it a few nights ago and are getting ready to order again. Love, Love, love!!!

December 29th 2024...we order our first carry out from Mimmo ItLuan and soooo disappointed in the Lasgana way TOO SALTY, we feel it was the slice cheese instead of Ricotta Cheese, we cut the burnt side off.I am sure they meant well on there Lasgana!

I absolutely love this little spot! We have carried out three times now - every meal has been delicious. We have tried the pasta (Alfredo and pomodoro), lasagne and most recently their pizza. Everything tastes like it was from Nonna's kitchen and everything homemade. Kudos to chef for keeping it real and I mean it!! No Sysco food here! Highly recommend!!

I was at my bro-in-laws and he ordered pizza, salad and an Italian sub. Nothing disappointed. It actually is the most tasty pizza I've likely ever had. The sub was ridiculously plentiful and the bread had great crunch with a soft warm center. The salad was salad, not the highlight, but a great compliment to everything else. recommend giving this a chance

I'd give them a top rating except that their doors were closed when I went there on Tuesday, 1/7. I've tasted some of their delicious foods and they are good, but I was disappointed that their hours of operation posted on the door are not what their hours of operation really are. Too bad, I was ready to buy some good tasting bread!

I'm going to keep my review short. I lived on the East Coast for five years before moving home to Detroit. Mimmo could compete with any pizza shop in the tri-state area.
