Mimi's Diner

My son thought it would be nice to take his best friend for lunch after graduation at Mimi's Diner. What was supposed to be a nice meal with a great friend, turned into a ruined experience. Mimi walked up to him and saying, Hey (insert name) how's your Mom? Tell her I said to F-off!" As you could imagine, my son was very upset, but not only that, she said it loud enough for other patrons to hear as well. I know this because I was called by more than one person about it. Now, to me, if you want your business to thrive, you shouldn't treat anyone like that let alone your customers.

Food is average and the wait staff if not the friendliest. Owner seems to be the main reason for this. We still go here occasionally but feel like there are better options. They also charge a fee when you pay with a credit card. Seems strange given that we are likely headed to a cashless society. I get that they have to pay a fee to the carriers but just build it into the pricing and if you want to give a discount to someone who pays with cash then do so. At least that makes it seem like a more positive approach.

Wholesome diner off M-36 slightly across from Kroger. Didn't take long at all to get seating in a cozy booth and were delighted by a welcoming waitress. The menu was HUGE! You can make your omelette into a skillet/bowl if you prefer (which is what I did). Very good experience and found our new go-to breakfast joint

Food is my favorite hobby, I do not cook at all, so I'm constantly on the hunt for something amazing to eat and writing about it is my second favorite hobby.... (Atmosphere, Service, Food, Price & Overall Experience).Atmosphere: 3 its a cute diner style with table and booths. Service: 3 there are fast but not the friendliest creatures I've ever met. But they are quick and efficient. Food: 4 the food is your traditional diner type meals its good and the portions are reasonable.Price: 5 the price is a good deal for the portions and service. Overall Experience: 4 its a typical diner with decent fast, service and fresh hot food.

Huge portions of really good food at reasonable prices. Servers are very nice as well. We've been back several times.

First of all- it's amazingly impressive to see the owner of the establishment hustling waiting tables with her staff on a Sunday. So kudos on that! The atmosphere is clean and welcoming. Cute and fun signs made us smile. I didn't take pics because when food is good- let's face it- pics are not the priority. The food was excellent. My wife said that the corn beef hash was the best she's ever had. My bestie said he truly enjoyed the meat lovers omelette. Biscuits and gravy were absolutely the delicious comfort food I needed. Way to go Mimi! We wish you many years of success! You have a good thing going!

Was totally not impressed or satisfied with the service and quality of the breakfast. Rude, rushed, and the breakfast was under satisfactory. I will not go into details on the food, but paying in excess of $13 for eggs, bacon, well over done, and the rest, just not worthy of mentioning. But when you are the only breakfast dinner in the area, I guess you will go, if not from the area. Please bypass.

I'm so disappointed! I ordered a Moe's omelet and received nothing but egg and spinach. If Feta was added, I didn't see it. My toast was burnt as well! Two thumbs down!

Good food and service. Best cinnamon raisin toast for miles. We eat breakfast here a lot and dinner sometimes when I don't want to cook.

Food was way overpriced. Ordered Maurice salad and it was skimpy. Won't be back. Server was rude as hell.
