Mikes Coney Island Restaurant

Food is really good, perfect small coney for cravings. The service is excellent considering how busy they seem to stay. Ambiance is a little cramped but worth it if you like being close to family. Over all: well priced for the food received, a nice family restaurant and would eat here again.

Burgers are good but if you order takeout, the burger buns get soggy which is pretty gross. Mike's crispy chicken wrap is really good though.

It was our first visit here. We have heard many times how good the burgers are. So, we needed to try.Our first impression was that the Service was very friendly and efficient. They all had a smile on their faces all the time and made us feel welcome. The ambiance is very typical for a Coney Island restaurant. I noticed that the restaurant is very clean. Furthermore, I really liked the comfortable seats. I could not spot any seat that did not look in perfect condition. I ordered the Mushroom Swiss Burger, and it was great! There was a generous portion of toppings. My wife liked that they served it with extra slices of pickles. I had plenty of mushrooms. The meat was cooked just right (as ordered) and juicy. It was a very hardy and tasteful meal. We will return soon to try the breakfast selection, which also looks very good.

Great service, generous portions, fun art on the wall. It's a diner in the best sense of the word. "Diner" also means unfancy coffee and lots of tasty food that's not necessarily healthy. But if you're looking for a diner, you already know that! Loved my veggie hash browns that were served with the best cinnamon raisin toast ever. Hubs enjoyed his omelette too. We will definitely be back!

Great food, great service! I had the hot roast beef, the beef and potatoes are made in house and very good. My teenage son says the mozzarella sticks were very good. My husband enjoyed the chicken pita sandwich and says it is chock full of chicken and the honey mustard sauce was really good.

Great breakfast, especially the omelette's! I take my out of town friends here because it's so consistently good.

Solid food! Waitstaff is on point. Prices are average for 2023. The food and service are good enough that I am a repeat customer.

Super clean diner, staff are quick, friendly and attentive. THE FOOD is AWESOME. Went there for breakfast this week and Mike's Hash is the best I have had. I can't wait to get back for lunch or dinner the next time I am in Holly.
