Awesomeness and wonderful bar restaurant with no wait, fully staffed and fun Trivia night activities unlike the Famous Bavarian Inn Restaurant, which sits inside with only German Foods. This fun little bar restaurant faces the busy Main Street in this beautiful, famously decorated downtown with German heritage! It's gorgeous just to sit here and enjoy their fine dining experience as well as the spirited staffs running around the thirty some tables with mixed American Hamburgers and German Bratwurst Sausage Dishes and German beer in 14 oz. dainty glasses. What a wonderful find. Nothing touristy about this Jewel of Frankenmuth, MI.

Meh. Stopped here Saturday night for a light meal and found it only OK. The "wedge" salad on the menu wasn't a traditional iceberg lettuce wedge, this was 3-4 stalks of Romaine lettuce with some bleu cheese dressing & a couple of split cherry tomatoes. Tasted OK, but not what I consider a "wedge" salad.My wife ordered a Moscow Mule to drink, said it was refreshing. I ordered a vodka martini "up" with 2 olives, might have been the worst martini I've ever had. No chill to the glass or to the vodka, it was like they just poured vodka into the glass and put a couple of olives in it. Ugh.The patio we sat in was nice, good music.

Perfect for brews and appetizers to take a break from the frigid weather. We loved the totchos!! The blueberry pulled pork is a change up from the usual taste. Great local beer selection. All the other amenities of the Bavarian Inn. Seat yourself!

Love this place, great place to stop and have a beer and appetizer while visiting Frankenmuth. Has a small beer garden feel.

If you're a whiskey lover try the Makers Mark flight. Great outdoor seating. We had wonderful service. The pulled pork sandwich was amazing.

Fish entree and service was amazing but avoid the "traditional wedge" salad was a flat 4 romaine leaves topped with some cherry tomatoes bacon and blue cheese dressing like a weird pizza (very disappointing and do not recommend)

While in Frankenmuth for a quick trip, we stopped in at Michigan on Main! The Bavarian Inn restaurant and other local places were closing soon as business hours in a small town are short. However the hours here were a little bit longer. The Michigan on Main menu seemed like an abbreviated Bavarian Inn menu with a few different, more casual choices. I ordered a specialty/seasonal drink called Christmas Morning and I'm not sure if it was the alcohols mixed, or the flavor of mixers, but it came out tasting kind of like pool water. My boyfriend tried it too and before I told him my thoughts, he asked me "why does it taste like chlorine?!" So, I'm not alone in that thought. On the bright side, the pretzel appetizer was a great way to start the meal! I loved the sweet Bavarian mustard that came with it! The cheese was not warm enough so it was a little thick, and also did not offer much flavor. For a main, I ordered The Grand burger with fries as I was in the mood for a classic. It was pretty greasy since my bun was soaked through before I got to my second half so I ditched the bread and just ate the insides. The burger was enjoyable flavor-wise, and went really well with the sweet Bavarian mustard. The fries are the good kind--double fried Perfectly crispy! Our waitress was nice, patient, and checked on us regularly. Overall, it was a fine experience and I'm not opposed to coming back, but I would rather try other places in the area before re-visiting.

The perfect combo, chicken, mashed potatoes, dressing and a flight of German beer. Great service in a cozy environment!

Great ambiance. Amazing service. My had a chicken pot pie and my father had 50 Cent wings. Everything was delicious and the town was just as great!!!

Ate with the family and in laws at Michigan on Main. Initially we were told that there was like an hour plus wait but we were pleasantly surprised when we were seated rather promptly.The menu is overall ok, we split the chicken sandwich with the hubby.Others got Salad, bratwurst, burger.Overall the food was fine. Service was ok, it seemed that the staff was a bit overwhelmed.A bit dated in decor but very nicely decorated for Christmas. Inside Bavarian Inn.
