Great space with a solid list of craft beers. Plenty of local options. Chris was fun to talk to and really helped me plan for some more good spots around the area. He has a ton of local beer wisdom

Came by on a Saturday afternoon when we were out running some errands. I've never seen the Michigan beer growlers location so decided to pop in and have a little taste of beer. There are numerous to choose from and many are Michigan beers. I had the Hefeweizen and my friend had the dark horse buffalo brown. They were both very good and very different from each other. this is a great way to stop for a quick beer. There's also four tables for two outside with a heater. There is a covered awning over it so would be good in rain or shineIt is attached to the brown dog creamery, so you could get your beer and ice cream all in a one stop shop!

There is an extensive array of beers on tap. The majority of them are brewed in Michigan.Helpful staff. Outdoor seating for when it is nice. Nice mix of beers - not all IPAs. Stouts, ales, brown ales, etc. prices are good as well.

I was in the area and stopped by to check this place out. It's a cute spot. Not very big, but big enough. There is outside seating which increases the amount of seating. Also allows for a different experience. When I walked in, the entire place smelled like cookies. Which was a pleasant surprise. I found out there is a connected ice cream and coffee shop. I was absolutely shocked to see the variety of beers on tap! The bartender was fantastic. She usually works next door so she was filling in. But she was so personable and sweet. We had a lot in common to chat about and that made my stay even more fun. I was meeting up with a friend later so I had to go. Otherwise I would have stayed longer. Most definitely will come back!

Came here on a Sunday afternoon, few other guests but not packed. Grabbed a seat and attempted to decide on what was first to drink! They have a huge wall of various beers to try, local and names you've seen around! I love that there are samples sizes all the way up to growlers. I love to be able to try different things without committing to a 16oz+ feel me? Friendly staff and a chill place, cannot wait to come back and relax and sample more beers!

Just ok. There really weren't any beer that I can't get in the stores. Was hoping for a little more exotic selections.

This is a small spot in a little strip of shops at 13 and southfield. They don't have food- but you can order from gradys- an Irish restaurant 2 doors down and they'll deliver it to you. Also they have some good snacks- we got some pop daddy's popcorn to go for later. They have good portions for their flights- each is 6oz. They have a good selection of beers. I liked the Vivant cranberry sour. Also the bartender was really nice! And if you get there today there's a deal to get a $30 gift card for only $25 and a free mug for a Black Friday deal!!

This is an excellent place to fill your howler or growler. At least 20, many Michigan, taps. Excellent rotation - their website is updated regularly. Try a bunch with the sampler paddle then fill your growler (or buy a meowler, howler or growler from them for a nominal price).Seating is fine. Bar stools and talk tables. Tons of fill business...so if that's your thing, it's easy in and out.Check out their website for everything currently on tap - it's usually pretty accurate. Call ahead to verify the more rare ones (they recently had Dogfish Head 120 Minute!).They sell some beer items (Michigan T-shirts, cozys, etc.) but the majority of business is beer!Shared parking with the strip mall (pet supply place, with puppies to pet and adopt on weekends, and a sushi place, amongst other shops). Small amount of seating, inside and outside, but sufficient.

A unique combination of botique beer salon and coffee shop located in an easy to access strip mall with convenient hours of operation. The place is welcoming and comfortable, having wait staff far more courteous than the usual franchise coffee shops where the 'baristas' are civil but not courteous. It features comfortable outdoor seating during favorable weather. A 'second' office for most who avail themselves of the excellent wifi connection, making for a home-like setting that fosters a sense of community among the patrons. Strongly recommended as a hangout for all.

We were hoping to bring a group here for a monthly debrief over beer, but unfortunately the place is very small, and besides the small bags of chips and a hot pretzel, there is no food. Seating aside from the bar stools, only accommodate 2-4 persons per table. The bartender didn't seem very knowledgeable or very engaging. It is a pity because we were the only ones in there, aside from a couple at the bar, and we were all but ignored. We ordered a flight of beers, but none of them jumped out at either of us as anything special. Prices are good though, so feel free to experiment with over 30 tap offerings. I headed over to the adjacent coffee/ice cream shop afterwards and well, I hope you do too. You will not be disappointed.
