Michael's Family Restaurant

I finally ordered some carry out from this tiny little place near my house. Their menu is available online and it's a cash only establishment. I went with the reuben and cheese sticks. The reuben was on rye with sauerkraut and 1000 island and it was a fantastic sandwich. If it sat any longer in the to go container, it would've been a soggy mess but I got to it in time and I would highly recommend it. The cheese sticks were not my cup of tea as the breading was very flavorless and the cheese had no stretch to it. But the lady who was greeting/accepting payment was so sweet and kind that I feel like the 4 stars is appropriate. Friendly faces and kindness go a long way and she had both. I will be back!

The food is really really good! The building is small but it's so pretty! The service is so nice and the people there are very welcoming and friendly! I am definitely coming back!

AMAZING breakfast - we had a ham and cheese omelet (yes the omelets come with hash browns or American fries! And the "3-3-3" eggs, bacon & sausage and hash browns and toast - freshly made hash browns (not frozen or pre cut). Great hospitality and in and out! Fantastic!

I moved to Chesterfield in July 2021 and I've been to Michael's a few times since. The service has been great as the waitress and greeter are super friendly. Last time I went I had a grilled cheese and ham and it was delish! To sum up, I highly recommend Michael's restaurant if you want really good food and service in the Chesterfield area!

You already have me on your side.Fresh brownies being made when I walked in at 8:08 a.m. Well played.Friendly, quick, and knowledgeable staff. Means I can get in and out pretty F'ing quickly.The only gripe is that you MUST pay in cash. I don't always have cash on me, so I have had to drive to other restaurants too often, but if you think ahead of time this is easily avoidable. The food is stellar! I've been here a good 10-12 times over the last 8 months, and I've ordered breakfast and lunch items. Everything is dope. Get your ass here, and be here early so you don't have to wait to be seated.

Cash only place. The food seems a bit pricey here compared to other local places. They don't season their food. The turkey dinner on Thursday was good, but the gravy had no flavor.

Great service, great prices, great food, and a true old-school diner feel! Yes, it's a tad small and yes, it's cash only (stated at the door), get over it!; cash only keeps prices DOWN!! You'll be treated like family and they truly appreciate the business! Great place that we'll continue to support!

We'll finally open again after a long time closed and the food and service is still wonderful. Great dinners with plenty of food and good prices. Recommended check it out again.
