Metro Deli & Grill

Great little quick grab deli! I had the breakfast bagel and it was very fresh and everything was made to order! Very good value! Not much of a coffee selection but the are other places for that! Would go again!

Simply the best in Metro Detroit.I'm a huge Deli fan and Metro Deli is the best deli around. The staff and owner is friendly, accommodating, make me food off for menu at my request. Always fresh. Always fast.

Pleasantly surprised. I recently moved my office into the building so I decided I needed to check it out in case I ever needed lunch in a pinch.Online ordering was quick and easy. Pickup was fast and the food was good. I didn't have high expectations for an office building deli, but they clearly cater to a lot of the neighboring businesses. The bread on my turkey reuben was soft and toasted perfectly - it could have used a little more meat/kraut, but not a big deal. The seasoned fries were delish! I'm sure I'll be back soon.

My delivery was disgusting. The wrap was soggy. You need to wrap the pickle!!! So that it doesn't ruin the meal.

This is a hard review for me to write, because I love the staff! Steve the owner is polite and kind, and know everyone by name. The women up front are helpful and engaging.Unfortunately, the food leaves something to be desired. I have eaten here countless times because I work in the building, and honestly it does not impress me. I find it expensive and the food quality to be quite low.For example, i ordered a gyro once for lunch. The delux includes waffle fries and a drink for $7.99. The waffle fries are always over seasoned - too salty. The gyro was just a hot mess. The pita was mushy and almost "moist", the meat, spicy, but questionable in texture. It was thick and rubbery. The tomatoes wer an odd red. Like they are purchased by a cheap produce supplier who icreases the appearance of their fruit with supplements/enhancements. Now on to the sauce. The sause was served on the side. I opened it up and it was runny, water runny - and it was ranch. That's right! No tzaziki sauce for me! RANCH!!!!At that point I was grossed out and could not proceed.In addition, if you purchase under a certain dollar amount and put it on your debit card, they will charge you a $2 processing fee - that is NOT reflected on your receipt.Overall, I'd say skip if you can - unless they have their potato soup - then just make sure you pay cash.

I work near the deli and the couple of times I have gone it was definitely a pleasant experience there. The workers and chefs are all friendly and respectful. The food is pretty good. I love the waffle fries. The only thing is the pricing. They charge 75 cent for a small cup of ranch. The browines are pushing $3! $3 for a brownie? But other than the prices an overall decent place.

Still eating lunch at Metro Deli almost everyday and today was no exception. Friday's special is the bacon cheesburger deluxe. Totally yummy for $6.99 and comes with seasoned fries and a 20 oz. fountain drink. Burger was done to my exact specifications (Swiss instead of American cheese and nix the mayo). Fries were hot and crispy. Oh and did I mention it comes with a dill pickle spear? Well, it does. Double yum.Stop by, grab a bite to eat and say hi to Steve. You won't regret it.

We needed a place that would deliver to a business with 10 different orders. Everything was delivered just as ordered, and everyone seemed to agree that the food was good. It was also very reasonably priced and a wide selection.

Very disappointing. Nothing to write home about and the portions are small for the price. Avoid this place as there are so many better choices in the neighborhood.

We ordered through Grubhub and they did not update their Grubhub account so we have been waiting for our food but apparently they are not delivering. No contact from them or Grubhub. And we are having a hard time getting our money back. And I've read reviews about having a hard time ordering from this place from other people. Just don't order from here and go somewhere else
