McShane's Irish Pub

Stopped for Saturday lunch. A nice little spot. Not too busy. Plenty of sports on TV. The bartender was running the whole joint. He had three at the bar and three tables. He did spectacularly. Better than most waitstaff I've seen lately. Friendly. On the ball. Helpful.He mentioned that he had a special on loaded potato soup. On a drizzly December Saturday, we were sold. Bowls, please. Delicious.We followed with salads. I opted for the Michigan salad; mixed greens, dried cherries, Granny Smith apples, and gorgonzola cheese. I added grilled chicken and subbed in balsamic for the original raspberry vinaigrette. It was loaded up and delish. I had to take half home. The hubs got the BIG salad, which was basically a loaded up chef salad, with bleu cheese dressing. He liked it, but I think he regretted not ordering mine.It's definitely a stop we will make again

What a fun find! Unpretentious. Affordable. Delicious. I ordered the shepherds pie. It was not traditional but so good! It looked like a potato covered burger but tasted like the real thing. Service was friendly and attentive.

Stopped in with my sister for lunch, and have been dreaming of the sandwich I ate ever since. They have SO MANY options for gluten free diners which probably makes me a little biased towards them. But wow. It's so rare. There we SO MANY things I could eat without issue. I got a club on gf bread with tots and it was delicious. The portion was huge, and I took half the sandwich and tots home for another meal. My sis got the turkey Reuben and was just as impressed, and also had leftovers. We each got a few drinks with out meal. My tab for my food and 3 drinks was ~$25. Absolutely reasonable and a nice surprise with how expensive eating out has gotten. This will definitely become one of my favorite places for whenever I'm close by.

Food was above avg and the prices reasonable. Bar tender was nice and attentive. Seems to have daily drink specials and happy hours. Will definitely return.

Best crab cakes I've ever had! Don't judge this place just because it's a pub, their kitchen is churning out some great food. There is a happy hour, and consistent specials and trivia nights. Inside is laid-back and non-pretentious, with lots of places to sit and lots of TV screens

The food is outstanding! They have keno and pull tabs. Drinks are always good. Easy parking. Good hang out!

Great lunch spot! The food is phenomenal and service makes you feel welcome. There are a lot of unique meals as well.

Currently 3:57am as I'm writing this review.I went to Mcshane's last night, not knowing what I was getting into. The place seemed nice on the outside, on the inside, bland, mundane, understaffed, and the food...the food is the reason I'm writing this review in the first place. I have a gut wrenching stomach ache that woke me up in a cold sweat. I barely finished 1/4 of my meal, if you had a manual ringer and you put my dish through it, I guarantee you that you'd produce a 1/2 of pure used, unfiltered oil. It took about 25-30 mins for everything drink order to be received, which...I cant blame considering it was LITERALLY a one man show. It wasn't like this was a Monday, Wednesday night either, we're talking Saturday night at 6:30 pm and there was a SINGULAR human working both the bar, the kitchen and the tables, congrats to her for the hard work, but the cleanliness, the wait time and the overall experience truly makes this place a last resort.(If you're just looking to go to the bar and get shit faced, I think pretty much any bar with a drink of your choice will suffice, not sure when their lines were cleaned though...that's definitely one major thing that scared me about getting a beer here)

Whether you do dine in, to go, or delivery-- their food never disappoints! The food is always consistent and you know what you will get. Love their fish and chips, mac n cheese and their shepherds pie.

The BEST burger I have ever ate!!!!! Really good home made food. A hidden gem. If you have the time it's worth the wait!!
