McShane's Irish Pub- Downtown Detroit

Arrived and sat at the patio as a group of 6. Was offered a single tablet for us to see a menu. We just googled it on our phones instead but they should just laminate a QR code to make it easier.Service was not stellar, as she sloshed around cups of whatever and set them down hard enough for them to spill through the table onto the pants of 2 people in our party but food was delicious!

If you're coming for good service this might not be your place but if your looking for a pub to get some food and catch a game you've come to the right spot. Generous portions and not a big hit to the wallet. We went for brunch and the menu was very extensive for anyone to find options. Lots of local beers as well.

Came here for some late night food. Kitchen closes around 1am. Service is very friendly, music is cool and upbeat. It definitely looks and smells like a bar that's been around for quite some time. We ended up ordering the catfish dinner. Everything was cooked great. The coleslaw and fries were seasoned very nicely. Unfortunately, the seasoning in the catfish batter lacked significantly. The breading was so bland. So if that recipe could be adjusted, the dish would be perfecto!

I got a vodka Red Bull here and it was made pretty strong which is always a plus point. The buffalo chicken wraps were really good. The inside is dark and not cute but the patio is pretty nice with cornhole and a tiki themed bar.

My job had a Christmas luncheon here. We had reservations but they sat us apart, limiting our communication. The food was cold and the waitress was overwhelmed. The atmosphere was very boring and uninviting. Won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Thank you so much for the shuttles during the draft!!!! When we got back, we enjoyed some drinks & sandwiches. Your house made chips are yummy!!! Great service, too!

We finished a fun oyster shucking class at Mink and wanted to catch a bit of the Lions game with friends, so we ended up at McShane's. I was surprised at how huge the place is! There's a smaller area in front with a bar, but then you walk back and there's a big dining area with tons of TVs and lots of seating. We grabbed a booth near the back and a server came by pretty quickly. We were just there for one drink and a snack, and honestly that's all I could handle as the game was on sooooo loud. Like it was hurting my ears loud. I think I'm just old but something to be aware of. There was a bloody Mary bar as well as a brunch buffet while we were there, but we just opted for a basket of fries. The fries were hot and fresh steak fries with a bit of rosemary. I can see this being a great place to gather with friends for a game. They were advertising "St. Practice Day" which apparently happens on the 17th of each month, with green beer, drink specials, and music.

Worst restaurant in all of Detroit. They wouldn't answer my phone calls and then when placing an order and when they rarelly would just hang up on me when they did finally answer. How rude!!!!

Great happy hour prices of beer, wines, spirits and appetizers. Appetizers were delicious! Entrees were delicious as well!

Zach at the bar was super quick and attentive even though I was the kiss of death mix of being a single diner who wasn't drinking. Then the food came quickly and was delicious. Heads up - order onion rings as the optional side only if you're sharing!
