My boyfriend and I starting coming to McMorran Place for Prowlers games a few years ago. Since then, we have become season ticket holders. We love the low price of a nice date night. Concessions are very reasonably priced. We split a drink every game and it's about $2. Security tries their best to take care of the rambunctious kids. We love how energetic the announcer is and how he gets the crowd into the game. We haven't been to the theatre before. Very clean place!

We love taking the kids to a hockey game and I have to say that we always have a nice time. Our favorite is seeing the Silver Stick and league games because our kids like seeing people their own age playing.Fair warning that if you go to a Prowler game, concession stands are usually fraught with long lines and waiting for food. We usually try and eat first to just avoid that mess all together, for the kids games that are less popular the concessions are great, the hot cocoa is delicious and the service is always friendly.

Observation Deck in the McMorran Tower. The McMorran Tower is 150' tall (it is said to be the 2nd highest structure in PH, 2nd only to the Blue Water Bridge). A spiral, seemingly never-ending stairway consisting of 188 steps, winds itself up to the observation deck (with plenty of pit stops along the way). Once to the top, the view is nice (to do - oh, maybe once...ever). Check out your view: to the north = blue water bridge and lake huron; to the south = black river and the federal building; to the west = college campus; and to the east = Sarnia. Okay, let's head back down now!I had heard it was open Memorial Day - Labor Day, M- F, 10a - 3p (I think when the box office is open) but hours were posted differently.when we arrived. We were quickly accommodated, despite coming on a day the box office was closed. There is no charge, but we did have to check in and out at the box office.I'd say everyone should make the climb once. I'm still feeling the burn :)

Teeth Chattering, cold, freezing, shivering ....FYI - This is an Ice Arena...if you are there for anything else, they slap some cover over the ice and carry on...so it's still cold...and if you are sitting...for say...a graduation or something...you will freeze! What's with the sound in this place?? It felt like I was sitting underwater trying to listen to the speakers at this event (maybe they were under the ice??).... I didn't think sound was a difficult one to get right, but apparently in Port Huron, it's something they're still trying to master...anyway, we all got a MAD wake up call while graduates names were being called....geesh! Almost had a heart attack! The skreetching sound made everyone jump out of their seats...we needed it though...we were huddled together getting ready to settle in for the winter....I'm being a little over dramatic...but you get the point...wear socks and bring a coat!

This new parking system is outrageous. It takes forever to get out of the parking lot after events now. Why did you get rid of the prepaid parking? It didn't use to be this difficult to leave the venue when you had the guy in the shack.

I like Mcmorran because they do have alot of cool events throughout the year, the only thing I would say negative about this place, is it is in need of updating. Other than that, me and my family go there several times a year.

Treat for Peewee hockey playersVisited McMorran for a hockey tournament. With its wooden benches and low box special seating, it was a great venue to watch the game. It was also a treat for the players to be hosted for a game in a real arena. Intimate, but big arena feel. Parking is directly across the street.
