We discovered this place a few weeks ago and this is our new favorite Chinese restaurant!! The portions are generous and the flavor is excellent! The first time we were here we sat down instead of doing a carry out. The service was excellent! Our waitress was very pleasant and checked on us a few times. The price is very reasonable as well. My husband and I love Chinese food and eat it like once a week and have decided this will be our new go to place!

Best Chinese in town. Chicken quality good, Rice good, Wonton soup not bad. But you have to come during peak hours or your food is not fresh!

I was desperate. Like a junking looking for his next fix- I NEEDED Chinese! And I needed it BAD! The day prior I had called around to no less than 11 Chinese places near me and surrounding me. With the stupid COVID-19 it seemed everything was unlocked down. I started to look at areas between my parents house and mine, as I was going to be taking them groceries the next day. May Hongs came up in the search and I remembered that Mark C. and Mitzi. always posted drool worthy pictures. I called to verify that they were open for carry out during this crazy time and sure enough they were. I was getting my fix of Chinese the next day. After leaving my parents house I called in and placed my order. It was a big order. I haven't had Chinese in about four weeks and I was looking to try everything they had to offer. I ordered lunch combos of Almond boneless chicken, Szechuan chicken, and Gai Kow aka chicken with mixed vegetables. The lunch combinations came with fried rice and an eggroll. You could also add on a 16 ounce cup of soup and a giant delicious Chinese sweet roll for a small up charge of only $1.25. I added 2 cups of won ton soup and 1 egg drop with the 3 rolls to our order. When I got there to pick up my order I was greeted by a pleasant woman. She assured me that my order would be up soon and I told her no worries. But the way of the world these days are we really in a hurry anymore?! Where do we have to go? What do we have to do? I was in no rush so it wasn't a bother. Other patrons inside or social distancing and we're wearing protective face coverings, as was myself. They employees at May Hongs were also were gloves and masks. Safety first, even before much NEEDED Chinese! The lady set my order on a table designated by numbers and masking tape. I was asked to grab my own order. Again, this is just a sign of the times. Sad but true. I paid and was on my way with my neatly packed box of carry out. High-5 then for putting my entire order in a box. It made for easy, safe transportation of my food home. The food: egg rolls delish! Cooked fresh, not prepared ahead of time, sitting around getting soggy/hard. The wonton and egg drop soup- delicious!! What a great option to be able to add a soup and dinner roll to any lunch or dinner combination for only $1.25. The fried wontons strips for the soup are good enough to eat in their own, and next time I will order extra! The chicken in all 3 dishes was fresh and cooked just right. They veggies were also really good but they could have been cooked a minute less to retain some more crispness. The Almond boneless chicken was good as was the gravy, but I felt the bread coating was too thick and heavy. I picked most of it off for my kids. The fried rice was meh. But those dinner rolls! Omgosh! Those rolls!! I would easily make a meal of 6 of those beauties and some soup and call it a win! Did this place give me my Chinese fix that I needed? Why yes it did! Will I be back for more, probably. I look forward to the day when I can dine in and enjoy the lunch specials they offer for dine in only. My review is a 3 star but for the precautionary measures and they fact they they ARE open in giving them 4 Stars. I would recommend during our current COVID-19 state, as many Chinese places are closed. It's good Chinese, done safely.

Had the almond boneless chicken with chicken fried rice and egg roll carryout today and the chicken was overcooked and dry and the rice was dry also. The egg roll was good but even with the sauce on the chicken it was still overcooked and dry. The breading was falling off of the chicken. Not impressed for the money.

I was the first and only person that was in the restaurant (including the server). It wasn't long before a few customers came in and ordered dine in. First impression was okay. Nothing extravagant. Ordered within the lunch time, so I got a decent amount of food for $9. I guess you get what you pay for. As I'm finished with ordering my food, the server asks what spice level do I prefer. I told her Hot. She brings out the wonton soup as the app, which to my misunderstanding it has pork; something I don't eat. Also my entree had no spice. Flavors were solid but not exploding with flavor. I told her about my concern with the soup and food. She looks at me surprised when I said I don't eat pork but asks if I would like the Egg drop soup, I said sure. "Also my food has no spice to it." I say. She responds, "you never said anything about spice level." I reply back to her with reassurance that I did tell her my spice level. Now I'm very understanding if you forgot that's fine, but don't tell me what I did and didn't say. I was on the phone with someone that can confirm that I said what spice level I said. This was extremely frustrating. So she then brings out the Egg Drop soup and the consistency of it was as thick as chowder and it looked microwaved. I refused to eat that. She then disappears behind to the kitchen for 10 mins as I wait to check out. The cook came up front to see me waiting for her to cash my tab, to call her up front. I could really go a step further and say the fortune cookie had no fortune in it, which could've been handed to be me by mistake or intentionally. The guest behind me left their cookie and it had a visible fortune. You decide what you think of this interaction. I won't be back, sorry not sorry.
