Mastro's Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Shoppe

Masto's has something for everyone when you're needing to have a respite from the summer heat. THANK YOU for having non dairy options!In addition to chocolate & vanilla, they had an açaí oat that was good. Sugar free? Want frozen custard? They have it. And as far as regular dairy flavors are concerned, a wide variety. Peppermint stick in late June? Yum!Pricy though! 4 people at $26?! Oof.Do I think picking up a pint of Jeni's is better? YesIf I'm in SCS and need to cool off, will I stop at Masto's again? Absolutely, especially if they keep the non dairy flavors!

I really appreciate the vegan/ non-dairy options! They had vegan vanilla, chocolate, maybe raspberry sorbet, and açaí oat when I went. I tried the latter, thinking it would not be that good as I've never had açaí and thought it would taste too health. But I wanted to try something new. Turns out, it was delicious!

Stumbled onto Mastro's! So glad we did! The malt was amazing and the Michigan Pot Hole Ice Cream is a chocolate lover's dream. Check it out! I know we will when back in town.

Are you kidding me? It doesn't get much better than this as far as high-quality delicious ice cream goes. Don't attend if you're trying to lose weight because it's the real deal! There are actually low-cal choices that look pretty good, but when I go to this place I go for the gusto! My favorite flavor lately has been "Michigan Pothole" which is a heavenly dark chocolate flavor with littlechocolate chunks (potholes!). I put that with the Praline Cream in one of their chocolate dipped bowls and you just shouldn't bother me for a while! Many choices to whet your ice cream Jones! This place has been around for a long time and they do it right. It's right on Lake St Clair so you can talk a walk right by the water to walk off your ice cream comma! Give these guys a visit and enjoy!

over priced almost laughable. Ice Cream was good not great. Vegan ice cream WTF. Take down all the plexiglass COVID's over. It's almost like bank with bullet proof glass

Very expensive and not customer friendly. You are greeted by a large sign on the door stating there are no public restrooms. There is no seating in the shop. There are two lopsided tables on the side of the building. Swedish Fish and peanut brittle are packaged and on a table with signs asking you not to touch unless you intend to buy. One and done- we will not return.

Way over priced. This was the second time, and the last, I went in for a chocolate shake. It was way smaller, twice the price and not nearly as good as the ones I get at Hardee's.

Good ice cream. Usually a few diet options which I like. Only thing I don't like is the thumpy bass. Someone put a Bose Wave Radio in the upper corner and added a cheap subwoofer and turned the bass all the way up. It feels like someone behind you is gently tapping on your head while you wait in line. Very annoying.

10 dollars for one singular scoop of ice cream is insane. that was not the price that was displayed on the menu. will never return!

Second time trying to come to Mastro's in the past few weeks and every time they're closed I even though on both google and yelp it states that they close at 10. Very disappointing.
