We've ordered take out several times and tried a variety of dishes from tamales to a chili cheese burrito, flautas and tacos and all have been wonderful. I love their salsa and the service has been top notch too. Easy online ordering!

Grilled burrito was amazing! They fill one big burrito with your choice of meat, 2 choices of rice - So good! We love their Charro beans - very flavorful. The papas are very unique fried sliced potatoes . They have daily specials They have a $5 Mini Maria's which is perfect portion for my. Appetite. You won't be disappointed here! It has stood the test of numerous visits- always top notch! Closed Sunday and Monday

Definitely recommend. Food was extremely fresh & large portions. Tasted delicious as well. Service was great, very friendly and they were very accommodating to my diet restrictions. Restaurant was very clean as well. Highly recommend!

Had such high hopes just didn't happen, this be number 66 Mexican restaurant to open Downriver. Competition is strong, most have come from Sw Detroit via Jalisco Mexico. Owner trying to take credit from her Grandmother Amigo's place we visited many dozens of times in Southgate. This place pure Tex Mex with prices 30 percent higher than other places Downriver. Tacos 3 Bucks each and really small, going price 2 bucks each 90 percent places Downriver. The traditional corn tortillas smallest money can buy. The owner or cashier don't speak Spanish, didn't understand Campachano the cook did. He did a good job making 3 Campachano Tacos which cost 12 bucks with Beans n Rice . Worst Bland Zero Flavor Charro Beans ever eaten. The owner told me NO I know Charro Beans, hey lady I been eating these 60 year's Sw Detroit and Downriver your's TERRIBLE. Great Charro Beans Camino Real, Los Charros, La Salsa, El Bigotes and many more. Wife had a Double Chicken Botona was Tinga Style means Shredded , good mix just again Zero Flavor to the Chicken. The real kicker after paying $36 bucks and leaving 5 Bucks in tip jar had to pay 50 cent for Sour Cream, never ever thousands of restaurants has a place done this. So you have truly earned a 1 star review. Absolutely worse Mexican food place to open Downriver in the last decade. My favorite downriver Mexican restaurant! I've been hooked every since their one year anniversary. I love tacos, not just any tacos but good ones and they have it. My favorite days are Taco Tuesday and Birria Friday. I've had their famous tamales and they are good as well. Consistency is important to a foodie like me and I always get great service and a full stomach.The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly. Service is pretty fast for the most part and the food tastes very fresh. I've brought 5+ tacos and didn't get to them 30 mins later, they still were hotter than average and held up nicely. They make sure their food is served properly to go, so if you do have a long ride home it won't be a soggy mess.To me the Birria Tacos derserve their own paragraph. Don't let the price scare you away, they are packed to the max! I appreciate Maria's for filling their tacos with taco meat and not a ton of lettuce. Maybe 80% or more of meat instead of the usual half teaspoon is nice. My kiddos can appreciate that! The Birria is flavorful, tender and addicting. I often buy enough to share and still have leftovers.

Stopped in last night for Wednesday special. The tamales were excellent. Best I've ever had. Rice and beans were great as well. Will definitely go back. Service was awesome and everyone was very friendly.

Good quality food at a very fair price. I have never had a bad meal here. The menu is big enough to make everyone happy.
