Pizza smelled funny when it was delivered. Also, we ordered breadsticks and what we got was a cheese pizza. I was hoping to support local, but kinda turned off by the smell tonight. On the plus side, the delivery person was friendly and it didn't take long to get our food.

I ordered a Chicago style pizza, and was eager to get it... but after waiting for it, I walked up to the storefront and could see a staff person cutting it up, not wearing I mask. I walked away. If they don't care enough to wear a mask, how likely are they to be having good hand hygiene? Such a shame.

Live in the neighborhood. Usually we have really good service there. Today was off. My husband went in to pick up the order and he stood in line over 5 minutes and saw our pizzas sitting behind the counter lids open. The person making the pizza got off at 6pm, my husband saw her leave our order done boxed cut and not shut or put anywhere to keep warm. Really disappointed. He even told the manager that he had seen them sitting out after he told him oh they just got out of the oven . Too tired to argue or wait longer. Pizza is usually really good and so is the service.

I ordered a take out and bake pizza. The pizza was good and worth the $10 charged. The staff was polite and accommodating and the pizza was ready at the time promised. If you want a quick, good inexpensive pizza Maria's delivers a good product. They also have a very good selection of beer at fair prices. The wine was a bit over priced.

I have mixed feelings about Maria's. Generally, it's nice to have a place so close to get a decent selection of wine and some deli items, but there are some downsides, too.I used to go here fairly frequently for wine because it was so close to home. The selection was pretty good for a small convenience store with a deli section. Many local convenience stores will have a couple bottles of Boone's Farm, and that's about it.Maria's actually has a fairly good selection of wine at reasonable prices. In addition, they usually have a shelf or a basket full of discount wines they're trying to move. Try these at your own risk. I've picked up a few interesting white wines and also got a really badly corked bottle of red from my bargain-hunting attempts. Now, I usually get my wine at Whole Foods because the selection there is good and there's a 10 percent discount if you buy 6 bottles at a time.They also sell pizza by the slice here, but I've never tried it because it looks a little scary. I have purchased homemade cookies and cheesecake here. They're not the best bargain around, but they were good quality, especially the cheesecake.Maria's also sells a very small assortment of fresh fruits and vegetables, which is rare for a convenience store. It's nice to be able to buy some fresh limes to go with the Coronas you're buying, or to run down here for a few potatoes when you don't feel like driving all the way to the supermarket. But the offerings are hit or miss. I've come here before thinking I was going to pick up a certain fruit or vegetable, and they have been completely out.

Maria's is an o.k. place to stop if you want a quick snack or to pick up you favorite beverage. As far as alcohol goes, Maria's has a very large selection. I'm always able to find just about everything I need here, but warning: they do tend to overpriced a bit fir the convenience. As far as I'm concerned , they make a decent pizza and at just a bit above what you pay at Little Caesar's, you'll get a much better product. Strangest thing about their pizza, aside from the overbearing sauce is that there's a 50/50 chance that if you order sausage, you might just get kielbasa on you pizza. Strange, and definitely an acquired taste. Most of their deserts are bland so nothing really to write home about.
