This is not a place to go if you just want to run in, grab some beer, and go. You'll want to take your time here. I came in for some beer, and I ended up leaving with...sake. And beer. And some snacks.The selection of beers made in Michigan is enormous, enough to fill three coolers. Every time I come in here, they seem to have new ones.I didn't notice the extensive collection of sake and plum wines on prior visits, but they have over a dozen different types.The great thing is that they have a tremendous selection, but they have enough good stuff that's approachable from a price standpoint. They also have some very high end things, if you're interested in something for a special occasion. They even have an impressive selection of different cigars.Like I said, come here when you have some time to spare, and take a look around. I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for, as well as things you didn't expect that you'd want.

I am not one to ever write reviews so the fact that I created an account just to give a bad review at a place me and my family have been shopping at for over a decade now, speaks volume for me. I am a pretty understanding person and get that people have bad days but when I continuously come to a business and get treated like crap from an employee no matter how kind me and my family are, that's where I draw the line.... And create an account. Anytime I come in and Laurie is working, it always turns into a very unpleasant experience. The rest of the staff is amazing but unfortunately they continuously let her get away with the unprofessional, degrading manner in which she speaks to most people that enter the store. My family and I have had enough. She is constantly talking down to customers and other employees. I have seen her harass one of their best workers there on multiple occasions and finally one day another customer spoke up for him. I was there to witness it and couldn't believe someone else had to step in. Laurie has personally ruined this place for me and my family and we have since taken our business elsewhere. Dealing with her and her attitude is just unacceptable at this point and refuse to continue to put money in her pocket as she is such a bitter woman. Please have a talk with her before you lose all your customers.

This place might be great pre-COVID, but not now. Stopped in on Sunday in July to grab drinks. Not one of the 4-5 employees I saw while in the store was wearing a mask. I don't believe they had plexiglass installed on the counters that you often see in other stores. There were also a few customers inside without masks despite it being a state requirement (but I understand that can be difficult to enforce whether or not the employees/management at the stores support mask wearing). I was tempted to just leave and not give them my business, but at that point I figured I should just hurry up and finish with my purchase and get TF out of there. How businesses handle things during the Pandemic is shaping who I want to give my business to in the future and who to avoid- this one is on the avoid list.

This place is amazing. I went out of our way because the ratings we're higher and the dude and I were so thankful. We were laughing and joking the whole time we were there. Lori was awesome and hilarious. I wish so badly we had a fun loving place to go like this at home. They had what we needed and tons more. 11/10, highly recommend!

The owner's nice and all, but I've noticed that a decent number of the beers are... old. If you're going to carry a lot of craft beer, you're catering to a lot of nerds like me who tend to pass on any IPA more than four months old unless they're marked down. There are still plenty of beers here to choose from that aren't ... "old" ... just watch the dates before purchasing.

Pre-Covid it was great shop. Was in the other day and they do not require masks. There's a sign on the door that says they won't ask why customers don't wear a mask. While in the store, I noticed customers not wearing a mask. I put back my items and walked out.

It was my first visit to this store and they do have a great selection. That said, the experience as a whole was oddly stressful. There was a short blond lady (maybe owner, maybe employee, I dont know) that was yelling over everyone in the store. She was super opinionated and obnoxious. It was so bizarre and off putting that we just made a quick purchase and left. We won't be returning. With so many liquor stores in the area, who needs that kind of grief.

Wow wow wow, only the finest delectable liquids of the gods are sold at this establishment. I normally don't leave reviews, but I feel there are some keyboard warriors who have done a disservice leaving shamefully inaccurate and some would say blasphemous opinions about this business. Listen, if you want to go to a liquor store where you walk in and there's some guy named "Craig" working the counter playing Donkey Kong on his DS, then go down the street to Quick Pick. But if your looking for a lively care free environment where you can come in with a stride feeling good, and talk about all things liquor and life, then hit up Manny's. The staff is gorgeous, the selection is premier, and the prices are lower than your self esteem. Tighten up, and do yourself a favor by stopping in and seeing what's new and exciting. Don't let the Karen's fool you from having the liquor buying experience of a lifetime.
