Manhattan Fish & Chicken Market

This place sux! It's a crap shoot every time with loaded dice. Ordered food with no lemon pepper and yes lemon pepper was on everything. Bbq sauce on the fries didn't get that either. Drinks come with the meals/dinner had to argue about that. Why? It's plain as day on the menu. Check your food before you pay. You have been warned! Trust me, I've learned my lesson.

WOOOOOO Hot Mess. if you don't slip on the floor; the fish smell knocks you down when you open the door of this bulletproof glassed in place. The fish and chicken wings are dripping with smelly grease and overcooked. IMHO, it's best to think about elsewhere if you really plan to eat the food. I've tried this place 4 times in 3 years and it's only gotten worse each visit.

Im not sure what the other reviewer is talking about! I didnt smell any fish smell and im more than partially deaf which makes my nose really really good! The place was clean, the parking is cramped, the people at the counter was nice and helpful! It was my first time there my daughter suggested getting lemon pepper on my chicken and fish and im glad she did it was really tasty! The chicken was fried just right nice and crunchy the only thing is they should give out bread with the chicken and fish. They also serve koolaide and this is not a sit down place you order and go! I like it and i will be back to try the shrimps.

Surprising fresh and seasoned perfecting, 2x visit Lemon pepper wings, jumbo shrimp(were cleaned well++) on skewers fries and last time I ordered the macaroni and cheese it was unusually flavored the bomb and the cole slaw was fresh sweeten well. I will be back, soon.

Clean location, fish dinner was tasty and competitively priced, even though there were only three choices on my visit. I'll definitely go back in the future.

Inconsistent. Been there before and the chicken was pretty decent but this time chicken was undone, unseasoned and tried the Mac and cheese which was box macaroni with some pepper in it. Last time I. Bust.

Zero stars. The customer was so bad here. I was hung up on multiple times. So sad that companies like this are still in business and they treat their regulars so bad. I absolutely will never come back here until the hire people that are experienced and not people who don't care about the folks in the city of Detroit. I hope you all support me and not supporting a place such as this. We can get fish and chicken down the street at Captain Jays, they're much nicer and I have witnessed them treat us better.

This is the best fish fry in the area. Period. My family and I have been relying on manhattans for family functions for YEARS. Very consistent and very delicious. We always order their wings. Well sized and well seasoned. I get them with lemon pepper which may be too salty for some but perfect for me. Their fish is also great. I would and DO recommend manhattans to everyone!
