Manhattan Fish & Chicken

Manhattan fish and chicken is pretty today. I've never actually had the fish or the chicken, but I have had the shrimp and one time. My shrimp was fried to perfection and another time. It was a little hard, so they do need some consistency when it comes to cooking the food. Other than that, it was really good and the customer service was good as well.

Restaurant has large menu with a variety of fried foods. Wait time during this visit was 20 minutes with food being cooked to order. Strictly take out. A popular neighborhood restaurant with pleasant staff. Appears clean. Food was tasty. A quick bite when you don't feel like cooking.

8712 Schaefer location has awesome fresh, hot food! Shrimp and chicken fried nice and crispy! Great prices! Convenient location for when I get out of church! Kool aid was tasty! Can't wait til next Sunday!

Ordered a few pans of fried chicken wings for a family function and these wings were flavored perfectly. Nice breading but was slightly small. Nevertheless these joints was slamming. I could've eaten a whole pan by myself.

What more can I say that someone probably has already said about this place. We ordered fried green beans, crab cakes, friend wings, and fried mushrooms. It was one of those days. Everything was great. We also added on some fried Pickrel and let me say it was tasty. I want toGo back and try some desserts one day soon. No photos cause I was just straight hungry.

Better than Captain Jay's all the way around, especially when they take EBT. Some don't accept EBT, so keep that in mind.

HORRIBLE!!!!! I went and they sold me chicken that they fried the night before and put back in the grease today and you know from how dried out the skin was and meat was rubber. The manager started passing the dried out, last night, refried chicken out saying it's not refried is it but he is the only one to eat it the cashier put hers down.. that was so unprofessional when the health department goes and shut them down I hope he has that same energy at his next job because he should be FIRED just for passing chicken out that was bought back in from the outside. HORRIBLE FOOD HORRIBLE SERVICE DON'T GO YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!

food so bad, we tossed it. other customers comment on how bad food is and how bad service was. for us, service was bad but there was a dialect problem ( cannot blame employees - happens ). but base on food - will not be back.
