Phenomenal experience! We were welcomed by the hostess and taken immediately to our table at our reservation time. The entire staff was attentive to every detail throughout our experience! We had the octopus appetizer as well as the Shishido peppers and sausage to start! The octopus was absolutely delicious! We shared a bottle of wine that was suggested by our server, and it was the perfect pairing to our entrées.The bone in pork chop with prosciutto was perfectly cooked and soooo delicious!!! The presentation of the scallop and salmon entree was so unique and the scallops were so buttery!!! They have a fettuccine with a mushroom truffle cream sauce that we asked to change out the pasta and chef was happy to accommodate! That sauce is to die for!!! I could literally drink it by the gallon! The restaurant is intentionally laid out and beautifully decorated! Not too loud, perfect for a conversation! Some of the best food in Metro Detroit that I have experienced! And the service is truly top-notch!Five stars in my book! Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back!!

Lots of parking with very inviting ambience when you walk in. Service was very good with describing the dishes and making sure our we were never without drinks. We started with their signature table side carbonara which I highly recommend. Homemade pasta coupled with egg, cured pork and Parmesan it was very good. For my entree had the Coniglio (rabbit) cacciatore which was decent. The rabbit was prepared well with no "game" taste. The polenta it was served with was very dry and lacked much flavor. Overall decent restaurant but for the money there are better Italian restaurants I would choose

If you've ever experienced the charm of an Italian restaurant on Arthur Ave in the Bronx, Mangiabevi will transport you right back to those cozy, authentic vibes. My family and I chose this fantastic spot to celebrate my Italian food-loving mother's birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect choice.Ambiance & Service:The interior exudes warmth and coziness, making it feel like home. The staff is exceptional--friendly, attentive, and well-prepared to handle larger parties with ease. Their service elevated the entire dining experience.Appetizers:We started with the Calamari in Piastra, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The addition of a lemon wedge on the side was a simple yet thoughtful touch. Next, we tried the Tagliere di Salumi E Formaggi (Italian Charcuterie Board). This was a highlight--the prosciutto was perfectly fresh, practically melting in your mouth. The board was generously portioned, easily serving a group of 3 to 8.One standout option is the Pasta alla Ruota, a tableside-prepared pasta dish served straight from a cheese wheel. While the presentation was impressive, the flavor fell a bit short for me--it didn't quite hit the mark compared to everything else.Entrée:For my main course, I had the Beef Tip Fettuccine. The fresh, handmade noodles were a treat, and the beef tips were incredibly tender. The dish was hearty and satisfying, though I wished for a bit more parmesan cheese--I'm a fan of extra cheese on my pasta!Dessert:To finish, I tried the Cannoli. It featured a unique infusion of orange zest (or something similar), which was unexpected. While some might enjoy this twist, I personally prefer the classic, plain version of this dessert.Overall Experience:We ended up staying for nearly three hours, a testament to how much we enjoyed the food, ambiance, and company. Mangiabevi is a gem that I'd wholeheartedly recommend to anyone--whether you're a local or just exploring the Metro Detriot. It's an experience you won't want to miss!

Very nice menu with something for everybody. Great presentation on all 8 entry's at our table! the filet was cooked perfect, all the alacarte salads were spot on. Tuna cooked just right. Service was great. The table side pancetta pasta appetizer was sexy but lacked something. Very good enjoyable dining experience.

Hidden gem. Hosted my parents 30th wedding anniversary in their private dinning room for a group of 30. The manager was absolutely amazing to work with. They have a unique menu. I try something new everytime and am never disappointed. Get the hazelnut dessert!

I went here a few times and every time I went, the food was delicious. The pasta was El dented, the service was great, and for course the location was 5 mins from my house . The ambiance is an old Italian vibe. They try to go with traditional look but in a good clean way.

Came here for date night with my Fiance on a Friday night. We waited a few minutes until our table was ready. We came hungry and the ambiance is moody, romantic, and casual. There is a live paino player which we absolutely love. We got to sit close this time. We started with a bread basket. Can't pass on the bread and olive oil. For drinks, we order the house wine and another sweeter wine that was recommended to us. Liked both choices. We ordered the beat, egg, and green salad to start. It was hard to cut and eat the greens and it's a little bitter. I ordered the meat ravioli and my fiance ordered the seafood pasta. We enjoyed our meal and ate everything. It looks like a my past review never posted but looks like an appetizer with cheese and crackers lamb pasta, and tiramisu.

Great Italian experience. Normally Italian is not my preferred go to but this place is wonderful. From ambience to service and everything in between. I always love when restaurants use tablecloth and cloth napkins. Scoring points right off the bet. The rooms feel cozy and inviting. Btw, they do have private and semi private space for an event. Our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. And finally, for the food - Yes! Calamari wasn't breaded but grilled- just right for the calories conscious bunch. Polenta with burata was great. Duck ravioli best I've had, veal Marsala - highly recommend. And the bartender pours well Aperol spritz done with perfect proportion. These guys know how to make dining experience right for a picky crowd

I love this place. This is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon over a year ago. The service is top notch. The ambiance elegant and welcoming. The lemoncello is strong but delicious.I always order a pasta dish with the pomodora sauce. Full of flavor and reminds me of homemade. Worth the visit. You will not be disappointed.
