Maine Street Restaurant

Maine Street was incredibly good. The inside of the restaurant is extremely modern and inviting, and they even have a full service bar (don't worry the inside is not noisy). It's the nicest restaurant on Joesph Campau and competes with Polish Village for best restraint in Hamtramck. This isn't just a glorified Coney Island. Their entrees are awesome. I had the Tuscan Chicken over rice and it was better than anything you'd get at Olive Garden or Carraba's (much cheaper too). My girlfriend had a corned beef omelette and it was the biggest omelette I've seen in Detroit (much larger than Louie's, who was the previous biggest). It was massive and came with Hashbrowns. The waitstaff is incredibly kind and courteous. I see no downside to Maine Street and it may be, for the price,the best breakfast/lunch spot in Detroit.It's already very popular, but go if you've never been.

Loved this place Friday! We went around 2pm. The food was great! Everything was hot and came out fast. The staff was polite and seemed happy. They were very accommodating. I felt like they cared! I definitely will be back!

My Greek chicken salad was really good I'm at a training we got it via DoorDash. It came fast and it was fresh with quality ingredients. Since I started working in this area I've heard about Maine Street and it meets all of the expectations. Service was quick and good.

I was asked by my co-worker to grab breakfast and suggested Maine Street. I had never been and say why not, I'll try it. So we placed our order over the phone and I wish I knew who answered the phone because they were extremely patient and kind. We had a pretty large order but she continued to make sure we had it right. When I picked up the order, it was ready and waiting for me when I arrived. They were very helpful and had my laughing. Now the food.... I got the veggie skillet with Turkey bacon and it was delicious! I was surprised lol. I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. Not everyone have good Turkey bacon but theirs was great! It was so good. I personally will be going back!

I have frequented this spot since about 2006, it definitely used to be one of my favorite spots. As I've been going. It's still fairly good here however as the old staff is getting older and the new staff is getting younger I'm noticing the shift in the experience here.They did recently do renovations to the inside and I'm definitely love they've lightened it up with the lighter colors.

A friend told me about this little because I have been on my good liver and onions tour and they did not disappoint service was great and a very nice gentleman paid for my cheesecake

This place has everything. We tried their gyro, grilled pork chops and steak and they were all delicious. Service is great too. Must visit when you're in Detroit.

I have been coming here for about 5 years now and love this place! I came here for lunch today and am very pleased with all the precautions they are taking due to covid. A face mask is required for entry and once at your table you may remove it. I was happy to see a few customers refused entry unless they had a mask. They are doing a great job enforcing social distancing by allowing people in every other booth :) They also have plexiglass at the counter. If you prefer outdoor seating they do have a small patio.

I ordered from Maine Street Restaurant almost three times a week for over a year. Whit no issues For the most part. In the Detroit area, most people have a 313 area code! And I do not. My area code is from the other side of the state. I know most of the delivery divers and only had a problem this day 4/21/203. I ordered a mushroom and Swiss cheeseburger with onion rings. I'm a male. The driver claims he pull up and gave the order to a girl. I called them 5 times in a three-hour time period. And I just got the run-around. They did not resend my food or refund me and told me I was lying. So I drove to the restaurant and used the same card, I placed the other with and re other the same food so it would show up on my credit card statement. I will never perpay for to get delivered again! Because the manager was being arrogant and talking to me condescending! He did now handle the problem and told me I was a liar.

Got there a little after 3 PM and they close at 4 which is strange but acceptable. Was with my family and the service was fantastic. food was delicious and there was plenty of it. Always clean and inviting
