This is a nice neighborhood bowling alley. They have a good amount of lanes. The have a snack bar that has decedent bar food -- hot dogs, fries, etc. -- but it isn't spectacular. There is a really large bar area with pool tables, electronic dart boards, and those shuffle-board games with the sand on the table.Everyone I have encountered here has been very friendly.Parking can be a challenge. The lot goes around the building and there aren't a lot of spaces considering how large the place is. We've had to forego spending time here because we couldn't get a parking space.

Good vibes laid back joint. If you're looking for somewhere to hang out and there's nothing else to do, this is your spot. Bowling, darts and pool. You will be ok. Drinks are on the high end but what do you expect? $15 for 2 Heineken and one corona.

The food was good, the ambiance worked well, the music was perfect, it wasn't too crowded, and the technology was user friendly. These things made it a lot easier to just enjoy bowling with my family. I like being able to drive up, park, get a lane and shoes, grab food, and bowl. It was easier to do that here than most places I've gone to. I definitely recommend this place.

No arcade games. No video games. Will try somewhere else. Looks like a nice bowling alley. Will maybe check it out when my kids are older after getting a haircut at Youngbloods barber shop in hazel park Michigan

Don't go on a Tuesday and expect to play pool. Don't expect anyone to tell you or any signs. It was poorly handled. The sad part is our group had more drinks and food than the people they kicked us off of the table for. I won't ever spend another dime in this place.

We love this bowling alley! My friends and I have come here a handful of times now and it's always so much fun! We have such a great time & they always have open bowling unlike some other bowling alleys. Employees are great, food is great, bar drinks are great, everything is great! Everything is very reasonably priced as well. Such an entertaining, comfortable place to hangout. Highly recommended!

We came here for a work party, and had some food prepared by the kitchen, and was thoroughly impressed. The pretzels and cheese where large and tasty, and very tender. The quesadillas were also tasty too.The drinks were a bit weak, but other than that, no complaints. I'd definitely come back. The area was spacious and had a lot of beers on tap if you're into beers.

I haven't been bowling in a few years, so a suggestion from a Hazel Park friend who is now obsessed with Madison Park Bowl said we needed to come. As I drove there, I got the text: "We're in the bar in the back". I pulled up to a tucked away bowling alley on John R and only four cars in the parking lot. A little weird, I thought, but it was a holiday, and it was 2 pm. I enter the alley, and a whole room unfolds before me, a well-maintained set of lanes, with nobody on them, with a whole lot of character. It felt like I was back at the lanes as a child when my mom was on a league. It oozes history and the culture and good times at Madison Bowl permeate the walls. I took a moment to take in the giant empty museum of American culture and strolled to the bar in the back, where my friends sat talking to the bartender. The bar is almost a separate entity, but it fits in so well with the theme of the alley. Surrounding the bar are darts, pool tables, shuffleboard tables, and a very nice fireplace in the middle of the room. Drinks are cheap, with a few on tap and a big selection of craft beer in bottles. Presented with a menu, we ordered sliders, nachos, and fries to eat while we bowled. The sliders were very tasty, simple but executed well. The nachos too. Their french fries were a standout, with the good ranch (Sala W was right). Very crispy. hey have a few different leagues, including a lousy bowlers league, and dart teams. Bowling was cheap, I didn't do as terribly as I expected, and I got to experience the wonder that is the MPB!
