Warm Pistachio Matcha tee on a cold Sunday Morning was two thumbs up. Adelle, the barista, was the BEST. She could teach a hospitality class!!! My date was equally impressed with her order and the service as well.

1-25-2025Came for lunch on a cold, grey day.We loved the vibey atmo and the great service from Alaina C.The Potato Fritto was tasty with a lovely texture, the sausage and olive pizza was well-executed with a crisp and chewy crust, but it was the pastrami sandwich that was the star, salty sour on a wonderful bread. Loved it!

Absolutely loved my visit to Mad Nice! The fun decor and dark lighting definitely gave it a trendy California vibe and reminded me of some of my favorite places in San Diego! Our server was great the whole night and very attentive. He was helpful and fun and everything we ordered came out quickly. My colleagues and I tried a variety of items from the appetizers, to pizza, and amazing dessert! Our cocktails were also phenomenal! Standouts for me were my cocktail, '55 Thunderbird & A Drive-In Movie, Shrooms Pizza, and the Vanilla Bean Gelato. I was so obsessed with my cocktail I reached out to the restaurant on IG and inquired about the recipe! The Shrooms pizza was mouthwatering and I loved the fun idea of cutting my own slices with the scissors they serve the pizza with. The gelato was shared with the table and HUGE! But wow it was so soft and creamy and flavorful. My party really loved each of their dishes as well. Can't wait to go back!

Beautiful beautiful establishment! Pink everywhere. My only complaint was that the host made me take my knitted hat off...the cooks had baseball caps on as well as knitted hats. The food was phenomenal! The margarita pizza flavors pop with the homemade sauce with a touch of chili peppers; and the ravioli sauce and almonds No room for dessert but they have a dessert menu.

Everyone keeps raving about this place so finally gave it a try before a comedy show. I think this place is all about the "Gram". The interior is definitely a place where influencers would flock and while it is pretty, modern and open, it felt like it was trying a bit too hard. The seating is also weird and kind of not comfortable. We had a two seater near the entrance but they seated us at the end and our table was angled so weird with the booth bench. The food was fine: an array of pizzas, pasta and such. The cacio e Pepe bucatini lacked flavor and was kind of gloopy and the pomodoro was good but overly sauced. The staff was friendly and attentive though and their mocktails and lattes are delicious.

Excellent in every way. I had dinner here last week with a couple of friends who had been here before but I had not. I asked our server to walk me through the menu and to make some recommendations. We started with the sourdough bread and another appetizer, a few entrées (pasta and chicken) to share plus a mushroom pizza. Plus a couple of cocktails. We ate our way through the food enjoying every bite. The pasta dish was excellent. The half chicken was something I would come back and eat all by myself. Same goes for the mushroom pizza. None of us had room for dessert but this would be a great place to come back to for dessert and coffee or an espresso martini. Our service was great. Our server was very attentive, knew her way through the menu, and offered excellent suggestions The ambience is beautiful. You get the feeling like you're in a tropical oasis and not in the middle of Detroit and I mean that in a nice way. It takes you away which makes for great ambience and an experience pleasing to the visual senses. The bar is beautiful With plentiful seats. The restroom was clean. There is a shop adjacent to the restaurant where you can drop in for a drink or a coffee as well as browse around for a limited items that would make great gifts for your home or gifts for others. We had no problem finding a place to park in the adjacent parking lot. All in all we had a great experience and I will definitely be coming back again .

Nice atmosphere, great service and good food. We started off with a couple of drinks and liked the 55 Thunderbird the best. We enjoyed the Little Gem Salad (very large!), Rigatoni Ragout (very good), Cacio y PePe (a bit watery and salty) with a side of Jicama Slaw (we got the dressing on the side). We enjoyed the Little Gem and Rigatoni the best. There is a huge bar in the middle of the restaurant, large half circle booths and several tables for large groups. It's a large space and we saw a private parking lot but found street parking. I also love that some of the tables have purse hooks underneath! We enjoyed our meal and could recommend to others (although we've had better Cacio y Pepe elsewhere). This is a fun place for a weekend brunch or large groups. They do a good job, 4 stars for sure. We should try the pizza next time, looks delicious.

My cousin wanted to check out Mad Nice so the three of us made plans to grab dinner here this past Sunday. The interior is definitely inspired by California styled restaurants (chic with the color pink being the center of it all) with its lighter colors and dim lighting. There's an open kitchen, as well.Between the three of us, we weren't too hungry and started off with two items to share:SPAGHETTI AL POMODORO - 26The spaghetti was al dente with a good texture, but the sauce was quite bland and lacked seasoning. This tasted like something I could make at home with a fancier store-bought sauce. The portion size was small and it was literally just pasta with sauce for 26.00. Definitely not worth it since nothing about this was elevated.SHROOMS - 26For a supposedly thin crust pizza, it had a thick crust that took up maybe a 1/3 of each slice which was pretty unbalanced. The mushroom pizza was well seasoned with lots of fresh mozzarella and whipped ricotta that was delightful. However, the crust ruined it for all of us. It was pretty sour and not very fluffy, pretty hard to bite into almost like it was stale. While the toppings were fine, I thought the dough was very disappointing. To note, they charge 2.00 per person for still water here (which they do not tell you until you get your bill) because they don't have the filtered system set up (?). Portion sizes were small and the food was not great, and even though we could have eaten more, we didn't want to be disappointed further. Perhaps we didn't order the right things, but I'm personally not inclined to give Mad Nice another chance.

Came here for a belated birthday dinner and it was delicious! The beef tartare and Potato Fritto stole the show for us. The pasta was good but felt like it was missing something for the price. Compared to San Morello i think the pasta here falls a little behind. The atmosphere makes up for it as it's so inviting and aesthetic. The server was helpful when it came to decisions making. Will definitely come back to try other dishes and some drinks!
