Luxe Bar & Grill

This has been a regular spot growing up in Birmingham. I love it, friends love it and my family loves it. They have great servers and start to know the regulars. This place is tiny, but they pump out food and drinks. My fiancé and I come here regularly to get the burgers and sweet potato mixed French fries. I love a good dirty martini, but I recommend trying any one of their special cocktails- you won't be disappointed. If you are coming here for something special, u suggest booking a table, otherwise you could be waiting a while.

Love love love Luxe! We come here a lot, and it's one of my favorite restaurants in Birmingham. Their Greek Salad is so fresh and has the best toppings. I usually ask them to substitute the mixed greens for romaine lettuce. My husband loves the burgers here. Probably his favorite spot for a burger! Luxe is our go to spot any time we are in Birmingham. It never gets old!

I came here over the weekend for the first time in a couple of years and it is just as good as I remember! The vibe is upscale but comfortable. It's a smaller space with booth seating and seating at the bar. We waited about 45 minutes for a booth on Saturday night which wasn't bad! I had the Luxe Burger, and it was absolutely delicious--the patty was juicy, perfectly cooked, and paired with fresh, flavorful toppings. I added cheddar cheese to it - highly recommend! We shared the chicken tenders which were crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, definitely a standout dish. Definitely get them with a side of ranch. The fries are nice, thin, and crispy! Overall had a great time and can't wait to come back soon!

The Brussel Sprout Salad is the BEST! I loved it before we moved and when we visit, we always try to have one meal at LUXE. Something on the menu for everyone.

Really enjoyed my meal here. Sat at the bar. Not a ton of space up there but the bartender was fantastic and handled the crowd well while also recognizing any regulars who came in. That's a great skill. I hate the burger based on her rec and it was very good. Old fashioned was good by they need to get some king cubes in there. Noticed this at several other bars as well.

Always great service and consistently yummy food. Never had a bad experience here. I always order the Greek Salad and add chicken on top, it's my favorite thing on the menu. I also love the mac and cheese and sweet potato fries.

We were able to sit on the patio to enjoy the weather. Onion rings were big and the batter didn't taste like much. Luckily the dipping sauce added the flavor. I also had the chopped salad with vinegarette. This was a good size salad, lots of toppings. Drinks were a little on the expensive side- $10 for one high noon. Overall, average restaurant.

The service was good, so I appreciate that. However, the women's restroom soap dispenser has clearly been broken for quite some time. There's no soap at all in there to wash your hands. I think that's pretty disgusting. Also the brussels sprouts on my salad were burnt and the Ahi Tuna salad didn't look very fresh. Honestly, I just can't get over the lack of hand soap and the complete disregard for a person needing to wash their hands, whether that's a customer or an employee of the restaurant. I don't plan to return.

It seems like this place is always busy and requires a wait - but, I suppose, it's because it is not big to begin with. So if you don't mind a wait and being in tight quarters - the food is worth the potential inconvenience. And, during warm season, you can score a table outside :)We stopped by for a quick lunch and really enjoyed our food. Burger not only tasted good but also looked good , Mahi tacos were excellent! Chicken wings had a great flavor.

I loved everything about my meal at Luxe Bar & Grill in Birmingham. It was a beautiful day for outdoor dining, and I enjoyed the calamari and the salmon salad. The calamari was crispy and well seasoned with peppadew peppers and arugula. The salmon was well-cooked, tasted fresh, perfectly seared on the outside, and moist inside. I want to return just to eat these two dishes again. I went to Luxe after a bad experience at Market North End. A Yelper told me that the same person owns both restaurants. I think it's irrelevant because the issue was with the hostess at Market North End, not the owner. My waitress at Luxe was very friendly. I am inclined not to dine at Market North End, but I would eat again at Luxe in Birmingham or Grosse Pointe Farms.
