Wandered in here on a rainy day. They were very welcoming and lovely. We got a couple of their pita sandwiches which were delicious and flavorful. Such a cute place, can't wait to go back in warmer weather they can open up their outdoor seating. But I'll definitely be back sooner than that too.

This place is GREAT! Ordered several things for delivery and all were amazing. Dill pickle soup.. a must try. It's a bit heavy so you don't need a lot, but very very good. The prosciutto Prada was excellent, and my friend enjoyed their meals as well, the Mediterranean chicken piada. Will come back.

Looking for a great lunch spot in the area, we came across Luisa's and it didn't disappoint! We loved the sandwiches on beautiful and fresh baked bread. The ambiance was calm and cozy. The service was prompt and super friendly. A hidden gem of Luisa's was the iced coffee. I've tried iced coffee all over the Ferndale area, and I honestly think Luisa's was the best. It was light, tasty, refreshing, and flavorful.Without question, I would go to Luisa's again!

We discovered Luisa's recently and are thrilled to have found them. The food is flavor-packed and I can personally speak for the corn dumplings and mole chili-they are flavor BOMBS.

This restaurant is a necessary addition to the Ferndale food scene, awesome homemade food. I tried the south american style corn dumplings and they were fantastic, hearty and delicious. The Potato dill soup is also worthy of a mention. I like the variety of cultures portrayed on the menu, giving every dish something unique in terms of flavor. There is certainly something for everyone here! When i went, they were sold out of the vegan tuna salad but i would definitely be interested to come back and try it. Definitely worth a stop in when you're in the area!

My mom and I went in on a tuesday around 2, so it wasn't busy, and the service was great :) I love the art all around the store and the music added to the fun vibe. There were plenty of vegan and vegetarian options, and the sandwiches are soooo good, as well as the corn dumplings. I totally recommend!

This place just opened and it did not disappoint. I wanted a quick lunch and this hit the spot! Inside is wonderfully decorated but a little small, it is mainly kitchen space. However there is a nice bench/patio area outside as well. I ordered a cascione which I learned is basically an Italian empanada according to the owner who is incredibly nice. The cascione was delicious! It is hand made and baked to order. While you get delicious and a freshly savory baked good, it does take a little bit of time so I waited ~10 min after ordering to get food. Overall it was a great meal with a lot of flavor and it didn't feel like a heavy meal. I would go again!

Went there on a Friday, had a mediterranean wrap. It was amazing, place is a little unknown even though it's on Woodward. Definitely worth a try.

Love this little shop! I came in for a quick bite to eat and that's exactly what I got. Everything came out as expected. It was a cold rainy day when I went in and the place smelled delicious and the food tasted so good. It's so bright and airy in there. I sat at a high top table and watched traffic come down Woodward. The service was great, they were so nice and answered all my questions.

Very interesting place, and hard to find. But worth the effort. The menu is simple, but tales a while to grasp your first visit. Basically they have fresh made pizza-like dough with which they make calzones-like things or sandwiches. Except its not baked, its on a griddle. Plus they have other things, including soups, hearty rice dishes, and lots of desserts. My wife found this place and we decided to venture out, Finding it is a bit challenging, primarily due to the road construction. You park in back and you walk between the buildings to find it. Just look for the big sign on the building. Once you find it, figuring ot the menu is the next hurdle. But the owner is very nice and helpful and gladly explains the menu. We ordered the loaded steak calzone like thing and a korean sandwich. Plus we got a side of the coconut corn and the pancetta loaded dumplings. And boy was everything tasty. The coconut corn has a very interesting texture, but is highly addicting. The dumplings my wife loved, me - not so much. Overall very delicious. I watched others eat simpler sandwiches, and I need to come back and try more items. Everything appears to me made onsite from scratch.Ambiance: this place has a great vibe. The word artisanal suits it perfectly. They have a lot of items not only behind the counter, but also in other parts of the store, so it can get as bit overwhelming. It is a narrow and tight place, but has enough tables for a few dozen diners. Most people were dining in when I was there.Glad we ventured out to find this place. will definitely be on the regular rotation of restaurants!
