My favorite place for Italian food! The service is always great, great ambiance and consistently great food... The chicken Toscana is my favorite and usual go to... the sauce itself is delicious and love that it is not super lemon forward. Some times Picatta and other dishes are so overpowering with lemon and Toscana is not that way at all...

We had a great experience at Luciano's. I haven't been here since the 90s! It was just as charming as I remember it! Very old school Italian feel! The service was great and very quick. The food though? It was outstanding. They really feed you! Bread, soup or salad, pasta, and the main course. Soo much food. The bread was an absolute delight. The chicken Florentine was better than mine! The chicken Alfredo looked delicious! We will absolutely be back!!!!

A group of 7 of us went to Luciano's on a Thursday evening. The first thing I was struck by were the 2 statues out front -- wearing T-shirts! When we walked in, I was taken with how attractive the restaurant is.We were seated in a back room that was decorated like the cafes in the streets of Italy. Very inviting. They offered a special winter cocktail with Prosecco and berries. It was delicious, but if I'd known in advance that it was $11, I probably would have passed. At first, our server was kind of slow; he brought out drinks quickly, but it was a long time until he took our orders. But, other than that, he was very good. He also paid attention: everyone before me ordered green beans as their side instead of potato, and when he got to me, he just said, "I'm guessing you also want green beans?"I ordered the chicken mama Assunta -- 3 lightly breaded chicken breasts with artichokes & mushrooms in a lemon & wine sauce. It was wonderful, and I had enough for 2 meals -- especially since it came with bread, mosticiolli, salad and green beans. When I first looked at the menu, it seemed on the expensive side for Italian food. But, once I saw how much they serve, I realized that it was worth it. If Luciano's weren't completely on the other side of town, I would definitely go back.

This was my wife's and I 30th anniversary. We were looking forward to going here all day. Walking in we were impressed. The ambience was fantastic. We thought the food would be just as good, but it was not to be. I started out with the veal parmesan. When it came it looked great however, it was very tough and like rubber. To be honest, I had much better veal parmesan from a family restaurant. I sent it back and ordered lasagna in its place. I was very disappointed with that as well. The lasagna especially the sauce was tasteless. The sauce was like tomato sauce with some sugar in it. At least it was better than the veal. My wife was very disappointed with her meal as well. She ordered ravioli. She got six small pieces. Her sauce was just like mine. It was watery, sweet tomato sauce. My wife said she hates to say this but Olive Garden tastes better than this place. It cost us $100 including the tip. We are thoroughly disgusted what a way to spend our 30th anniversary.

Sometimes one can tell big things about a place from the little things , had lunch in the bar area with a friend .It is a friendly , if you try to be friendly . But that is not the little things , growing up in the Boston Italian suburb of Evertt in the 1960's one learned what a real Italian sub was supposed to be .Luciano's does it , from the bread to the meatball sauce they have it. Have not found this close in 60 years living Detroit . I Will have to make the. Drive to bring my wife for dinner .

If you're looking for delicious Italian food, look no further. Luciano's has the best! From homemade salad dressing to homemade pastas and everything in between. With top notch service wait staff who are very knowledgeable about all menu items you won't be disappointed! They have a full service bar with two separate dining areas on each side. The decor makes you feel like you're in Italy! Bellissimo!

Went here yesterday with 11 people for a birthday celebration. We had reservations but were not seated until 1/2 hour after. There was no garlic bread. Big disappointment! Luigi was our waiter and was wonderful. Food was good but not great like on previous occasions.

Ordered veal tosca carry out. The veal, which should be melt in your mouth tender was as tough as shoe leather! Very disappointed in the quality of the food again. Hadn't been there in about six months due to the poor quality of the food then but decided to give it another try. We won't be going back. This restaurant isn't cheap by any means so that and the lack of quality is like a double slap in the face. Save your money and go elsewhere. Da Francesca is much, much better.

I took my brother to Luciano's for his birthday a few years ago and it was fantastic, from the front of the house to the back of the house . The food was spot on, we had the veal and pasta and the service was perfect . This time I took my best friend for her birthday, we ordered two Veal Mamma Assunta' and one lasagna , the veal was real thick and tough and the sauce tasted like drawn butter , had to send it back . When it came back the sauce was a little better , but the veal still very tough . (It was never pounded out like it supposed to. ) I took it home and ended up throwing it out. My other guest had the lasagna and the sauce did not taste like a true meat sauce, it tasted like tomato sauce with no flavor. Unfortunately I will not be going to Luciano's for dinner in the future. The service was still good but as for the food , something has definitely changed !
