Cool Sports Bar on Van Dyke... was nearby in a hotel for a Serbian Basketball Tournament. Thursday night I got a bacon, mushroom, Swiss burger that was very tasty and satisfying. Friday had the garlic Parmesan boneless wings that also hit the spot. On Saturday, had potato skins and a Rueben. All in all, a good place to eat and watch sports, but to me, the prices were a bit outrageous.

I went to Limelight for an event. Pizza and boneless wings were provided by the host. With as many people that were there, I figured I would have to get my own drinks at the bar, but the staff did a great job of getting the orders straight and out to the tables quicker than I expected. It has a large room with lots of tables. I was surprised that with a large group that it was not overwhelming loud. Conversation could be had at the tables easily. I'll be back to check out more of the items on the menu.

Definitely not a place I'll return to. This review is coming a bit late, for I was here a couple of months ago when it was still warm out. My Dad and I were grabbing a bite while we were in the area and decided to sit out on the patio. It was clearly an area where food was served and there were people smoking at multiple tables around us, which is a violation of the no-smoking laws even though it's outdoors. The staff didn't stop them at all. We ended up moving to the other end of the patio just to stay away from the smoke. If we had not ordered yet, we would have left.The food and service was mediocre and absolutely nothing special.

On a Wednesday evening, I visited Limelight with a group of friends for drinks and dinner. The place is fairly large with lots of seating arrangements. The four of us sat in a very roomy booth. I started with a Limelight margarita which was very sweet and went down way too easy. So much so that I got a second. Little did I know the small drinks were $8.50 each!! Way steep of a price! For dinner, I ordered the slider meal...four tasty sliders and a good portion of fries. Our service was good and food was decent - nothing terribly exciting and drinks were way overpriced.

Went there for lunch with a group of people. Practically were the only ones there. Service was good but food was below mediocre. I had a grilled chicken salad, which was suppose to have tomatoes and cucumbers. I had a quarter of tomato, no cucumbers...just lettuce and sprinkle of cheddar cheese with some chicken. Very blah...

Warning: Check your bill before you pay!!! This place adds gratuity/tip to your bill, so don't leave a tip on the table unless you want to double tip them.Also, I believe it's now a 20% extra charge on your bill. Food, most times, is good. Drinks, like another yelper posted, I believe may be watered down. We had long island ice tea. They tasted different from usual, like just cola & mixer was in it.

We stopped in for our first time. I have been driving past this place for a long time and we decided to stop in. We did not try the food but the drinks were reasonably priced and a very friendly staff as well as the customers we met at the bar. We will go back and check out the food they have a good looking menu..
