Legends Coney Island

Going here for years. Food is always good from my experiences. Wait times vary. Inside hasn't been open much since pandemic but it had two sides for eating in. It was kept clean for the most part.

I don't think the inside has ever been cleaned - the cook is cooking without gloves on. Ordered a patty melt (patty melt included bacon, cheese, tomatoes, lettuce and onions) so when i received it with only patty and cheese on it I brought it up to the cashier and was told that i was wrong and then when i stated it's on the menu, i received "well maybe they don't do it like that anymore" and that was it. OSHA/management needs to get here quick.

Being a Detroit Coney there food is quite the bang for the buck. Fresh Meat, and topping for my burger or coney dog. Highly recommended if in the area!

There aren't many places to eat in this part of Detroit. Legends has a lot of regulars, as we could tell when the order-taker called back to the cook that so-and-so was on his way in. Lots of working folks stopped by for their regular meals, so it has a real neighborhood feel. We enjoyed our down-home meal; nothing fancy, but tasty and served quickly and hot. My husband got the corned beef hash and eggs; I got the farmer's omelette.

And again, order is messed up. We orderedCheesburger, mayo only and hamburger no cheese, plus mushroomswe getCheeseburger plain, with mushroomsand a hambuger with everything, no mushrooms

Legend on Mount Elliott is starting to be the worst Coney Island in The City of Detroit. They mess up on your order and they don't care because they talk to you so bad. Also, they don't wash their hands and the food is not good or cooked all the way. I got sick after eating there

I was working in the area for several months and came through here for lunch a few times. The fried egg sandwich was phenomenal every time I went. Today I was in the area and I went there and ordered and egg sandwich w/cheese on wheat and a medium Pepsi. There was a different person working. I was extremely disappointed!The sandwich was really skimpy, not like the usual sandwich. The tomatoes were unripe, there was too much Mayo, the bread was hard but not toasted and there was one flat over friend egg and one slice of cheese on the sandwich. For $8.00, l was really disappointed. The sandwich was not very good at allZ

Legend grille is Banging! They have everything you can name. Their chili is from thee one and only national coney island chilli. They have the best grille chickenm salad. My recommendations are Grille chicken Salad, chili cheese fries, Breakfast special, and stir fry is good or you can try something I created their it a skillet basically, its hash browns loaded with grilled chicken green peppers grill onion, grill mushrooms, and swiss cheese. DEEEELLLLLIIIIousssss. My family from far distance make it their number one stop upon coming and leaving Michigan.
