Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

I was riding down the Plymouth Corridor and decided to try something new for lunch. My car led me to Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken located in a plaza located on the southeast corner of Plymouth and Farmington roads. They promote their Premium chicken stands the test of time since 1946!Lee's was busy with diners in the drive thru and inside. They have high top and regular table seating options. There were only a few seats available. Today was a day for several officers of the law dining in. The service was quick with a short wait. I was glad to see that they had my favorite drink, Unsweet Tea (and Sweet) freshly brewed for purchase by the gallon. Note: It states it is to be consumed in 48 hours. I ordered the local favorite 4 piece meal of Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. It came with a choice of two sides. I chose the Cajun rice and green beans. This is accompanied by Lee's famous biscuit. The meal was good. I could have used a large portion of the green beans. I would love to return to try their fish options.

Looks can be very deceiving. This chicken spot kept come up on my mobile food order apps. So I said "you know what let's go ahead and try it today". Money I could have saved. The chicken looked like it was good and I ordered the spicy however it was not spicy and it was very doughy underneath. The macaroni and cheese look like overcook kraft macaroni and cheese and they just added some cheese to it. The flavor was very mid. The baked beans tasted sour. Like I don't know why it was that sour but it was so strange. The biscuit looked promising but it wasn't fresh unfortunately. I unfortunately will not try this place again.

Live, laugh, Lee's! My family loves Lee's chicken. In a market where prices keep rising this spot is surprisingly affordable. We fed a family of 4 for $42 with dessert.Today we ordered 4 of the 3 piece tender meals with 2 sides and biscuit for $8.99 each. We also ordered 2 apple pies and 2 cherry pies.All of the food was hot and fresh. They have so many dipping sauces to choose from. I love their honey mustard and Bonzai sauce. My daughter loves their potato wedges. I always get their mashed potatoes, it just hits.The staff is super friendly and really quick with everything. The lady who got our order threw in so many sauces, I have so many left over for other things. The dining room is small, but clean. We usually take ours home and today was no different. Do yourself a favor and check either location out. You will not be disappointed.

Food was great, but service was lacking especially compared to the Plymouth location that we frequent. If the lady packing the orders and one of the cooks had stopped flirting we would have gotten our food 5 minutes faster. The lady that rang up our food, presumably one of the owners, was super kind and helpful.

Big KFC vibes .. They are also terrible with their phone .. 2 of the 3 times I tried to order they couldn't handle getting me off hold to take my order

The Chicken wasn't that good. But apple pies and brownies cup were delicious. May be it'll be better next time.

I am a big fan of Lee's Chicken and super happy there is a second location in Livonia. They are still working out a few early kinks, but doing a great job with their chicken! Very friendly service as well. This location has a drive-thru and that is a game changer and really convenient! A new favorite are the spicy tenders and I like them! They are mildly spicy but sure does add a new dimension of flavor! It would be great to have an even spicier level. They have all the tried and true delicious Lee's chicken and all the sides! This location did add Cajun rice as a side. I will be returning many times and will still trek out to the Plymouth location as well. Lee's chicken, some of the best around!

I saw the sign from the street and stopped by. They have a nice lunch special for $5.99. You are able to have your chicken spicy or famous style which is nonspicy. I had the spicy chicken, mashed potatoes and a biscuit. The biscuit was soft and fluffy. The chicken was good and so were the potatoes. This is perfect if you need something quick to eat. There are a few seats if you need to sit in and eat.

The food was okay, I ordered the 3 piece chicken spicy and it wasn't just okay I felt it was crispy on the outside but squishy on the inside - I did not like that at all. The mashed potatoes were tasty and smooth. The potatoes were dry, overall i might come back and try their chicken sandwich.

Worst Lees I've ever been to... had a taste for gizzards..went to the drive through... asked if they could make them fresh...... paid $4.44 for about 8 ..... they were not cooked fresh at all. They were both soggy and dry at the same time . Worst fucking gizzards I've ever had in my life. Why couldn't they just cook them fresh when I requested it? Eight ended up being 7 too many because I ate one of them, My fingers were covered in grease and I threw the rest out. I'll never ever go back to this location the one in Plymouth blows this location out of the water...better quality and cheaper prices.. that is probably why there is always a line around the building daily
