After all these years, this is still a solid choice for Lebanese food. My salmon with mushrooms was savory and gently spiced. The grilled veggies (instead of rice, thank you) were cooked all the way through and had a ratatouille-like quality. The crushed lentil soup was warming, substantial, subtle, and comforting. My one small knock is for the salad - I could have done with more tomato and cucumber and fewer (or zero) sliced onions.I should come here more often.

It was my first time trying this place today. I was greeted by an unpleasant woman at the front upon entering. I wanted to order the chicken shawarma, and rice lunch special ($10 on the front board) but I have celiac so I asked if the rice was plain or if it had little pasta noodles. She said it was plain. Then I asked if I could add grilled veggies. The woman said I could add them for an extra $2 on the lunch special. I said that was fine. She then told me my total was $18.00. Not sure how she came to that number so I told her to remove the veggies. Then I asked if I could get a small spoonful amount of hummus so I could try it (would order it if I liked it), she said okay, then proceeded to add $2.50 to my order for the hummus sample. I said forget it and remove it. When I got home, I realized their rice wa mixed with small pieces of noodles. It's a shame when a place is shady with prices and they tell you what you want to hear with no regard for celiac or allergies/intolerances. Now I understand why they have a low yelp rating compared to the many other middle eastern restaurants in the area.I live and work nearby at a large company. I will definitely make sure they don't opt to get catering here and steer my coworkers to the other places just around the corner.

Not a fan of the comments from the owner on my review. Had to update his comment to dig a little deeper each time. The owner has a poor attitude towards any criticism, comes across as rather arrogant and even goes so low as to belittle any negative yelpers. Insinuating that I am whining about having to wait nearly 30 minutes for lentil soup, tabouli, fattoush, OJ, lemonade and hummus. Making it sound as if he made the lentil just for my order as with the tabouli and the hummus too. I am stunned at the owners full on assault about my review of his place. Be careful what you say or the owner will go on the defense and attack. We ordered a fresh mint lemonade, OJ, 1 bowl of crushed lentil and a cup of crushed lentil, small spicy hummus, tabbouli, medium fattoush sans pita. Total is $39.33. No dine-in. Carry out or pickup window is available. Order would take about 15 minutes. They told us to wait in the car and come back inside when ready. No curbside but they offer a makeshift drive up window. They have two DTE car chargers in the back for those that are driving electrified. I was really craving fattoush salad and felt a deficit of greens today.25 minutes later and we are still waiting for our order to be done. Out in 26 minutes. The lentil is bland, oily too, but slightly better with lemon juice. Small brown pieces in it, no idea what they are. The tabouli is tasteless and boring. It doesn't have enough lemon, even with the wedge on the side. The parsley doesn't taste or look so fresh either. We dumped it after a few bites to make sure our palates weren't skewed by the other dishes. Our buds were on point, it's bland for sure. Total waste of money. The spicy humus is also grainy and not smooth. The fresh mint lemonade is too minty and does not have enough lemonade in it. It's too earthy and wasn't refreshing to me. The OJ was fine. The fattoush salad was okay, dressing and salad were nothing special. Had a few brown romaine leaves in my salad. :( Dressing was a bit flat, more sumac might have helped, better lettuce too. Now I can stop wondering if this place is any good every time I drive by it. It is subpar and disappointing.

The food was dry and tasteless no seasoning. Very Bland. Will I ever go back? Definitely not. The waitress Did not handle the complaint at all. Poor service. We were the only people in side eating. So disappointing. What a waste of money and not cheap $$. The ambiance was my warning Empty And lots of seating available. Shame on me for not seeing the red flags And I'm a professional.

I've ordered take out and dined in with them throughout the years and the last few visits have not been the best. Their garlic dip, juices and sandwiches are all good but their entrees and other items need work. The Veggie Grape Leaves were so sour(too much vinegar, maybe), rice overcooked, French Fries not seasoned, and for the $2 extra charge the grilled veggies were huge pieces of soggy tomato, crunchy carrots, peppers and onions with no seasoning!!!I'm going to stick to their sandwiches and garlic dip, nothing else is worth it!

I've had tons of lavender and middles eastern food and I rarely get disappointed in one bit man oh man this one was horrifying! I stopped for a quick lunch with my family, the place was dirty, floor dirty, tables is dirty and there were pictures on the wall where we sat that were literally smeared with grease! Like how??? Then we got the food which was less than mediocre! Appetizer was Gina's with scathed lam than was chewy. Fatoush salad with chicken shawarma that was just not good in way. Shawarma had nothing to do with shawarma, chicken was not done and the greens were all old and didn't taste good at all. I didn't think I could get disgusted with a Lebanese restaurant like that. On top of that there was a guy(maybe the manager) that was fighting with the waitress the whole time and we just got very uncomfortable that we just wanted to leave! If I could give a ZERO I would've!!!

YUM! I guarantee you will not leave hungry as the portions are very generous. I had the Lamb Shank, which was tender and falling off the bone. Served with a huge helping of tomato potato and carrots, cooked to perfection. Husband had Mediterranean Salmon, nicely spicy and cooked just done. We shared hummus, Baba ghanouj and tabouli plater. Served with warm puffy pita and one of the best garlic sauces we ever tried. We are only here in Troy for 5 days, but we will eat here again!

The service here is just great! The food is even better! We came in and were amazed by the beautiful atmosphere here. We got a few bowls and some meals and all the food was delicious. The meals come with bread and garlic when dining in and the hot bread was so fresh and the garlic had a perfect flavor that wasn't too strong for us. It was our first time trying falafel and I'm glad it was here because it was so good and full of flavor! The owner is so helpful and so kind as well as the waitstaff who were so welcoming! I personally think it's the best Mediterranean food in this area. The chicken here is cooked perfectly and the meat is so tender. It's by far the best hummus I've ever tried too. 100% recommend this place and we will be back!
