This place has an amazing variety of sweets and pastries. Customer service is beyond excellent especially from Yasmine. She has a very positive vibe to her and always smiling when I come through the doors. I really recommend this place to everyone.

Best owner and best place hands down. Truly cares about customers and are like family. Cakes are a HUGE NO but the mamoul is good. Anything else but the cakes is good.

10 out of 5. This place is amazing and very underrated. We stopped by for a variety of desserts for a work event and the prices were great for the quality desserts you get. We tried cake, mammoul, faysalie(I think that's what it's called). It was all mouth watering. All the cakes were delicious, so fluffy and moist. I wouldn't come here without grabbing a piece of the mammoul with the ashta - it is very delicate and flavorful. It reminded me of the mammoul back home in Lebanon. If you don't kno what Ashta is, don't be discouraged when you find out its cheese, it's mixed with rose/orange water and it's taken from boiling milk for hours at a time. It's definitely not savory. The cake with the fruit in it was a big hit at the work event. It was super moist with fresh fruit and custard inside. The tirmasu cake was just as good. The ashta filled sweets were very delicious and authentic. The last thing I tried was the cannoli cake. Wow that was unbelievable. I had to call everyone I know and share a slice, because I knew I could end up eating that whole cake alone. It's amazing. Sooooo fluffy, with the freshest custard and almonds inside. It also has chocolate filling and cannoli shells on top. The whole round cake is $28 and that's average price for a bakery in Dearborn cake. If you're looking for quality at a great price, come here. Don't deprive yourself of great desserts. The customer service has always been excellent each time I come in. The last time I was in, I received a complimentary raspberry chocolate cake. Yes, also that was delicious. If you like one of the flavors of the small cakes you can order a big one of that flavor one day ahead for $28. There is no up-charge, even though its custom ordered. If you've never had cake from an Arabic dessert store, you're really missing out & let Le Roi show you the way. After writing this review, I think I've earned another slice.

I've been to this place several times over the years. My last visit might have just been my last. I went in to pick up one of my favorite cakes. It was so disheartening to see that this the cake was far from acceptable for anyone to be serving. I called to express my disappointment, especially since I took this cake to a gathering and no one touched it after tasting it. It was really embaressing. I wasn't looking to get compensated for it, I was just trying to insure that the next time I visit I would be getting a quality cake. $28 for a cake that's been sitting in an unrefrigerated case for god knows how long is just unacceptable. The woman on the phone answered me with "I doubt it. I doubt it was bad" ....I was shocked. I assured it we threw the cake away. The custard was sour and the berries had gone bad. She continued saying " I really doubt it!" I hung up the phone as she promised to let her manager know. It's been over a week and didnt receive any sort of call or apology. It's safe to say that they lost a regular customer. Very disappointed!

The pastry chef is talented and his cakes and pastries taste really good..but when it comes down to talking to customers. He's mean and disrespectful. I called to get a price quote for a cake for my sisters birthday and I was surprised by the cake prices going up and he says "what were you expecting? A $10 cake?" So rude and disrespectful, I was very offended. To think I was planning on having him make my wedding cake too. I'm glad I saw this mans true colors. I will never be going back to this place ever again. Management sucks!

This is one of the most underrated pastry shops in Dearborn! Their desserts are amazing, not too sweet and balanced flavours. Wonderful customer service and great prices. Give it a try and you won't regret it! Halawet Al-jibn is a must.
