Lava Java is the jam! It is located on Greenfield just north of Michigan Ave. The patio is open during the warm months if you prefer to enjoy the weather. The food is amazing! I love the baba and the hummus. The hookah is the reason why I go! The ambiance is cozy & inviting. Check out Lava Java in Dearborn!

Went for the Ramadan Buffett! Food was pretty good. The environment was very cozy and I enjoyed the atmosphere. The service was okay, not too bad but not too great. Overall, enjoyed the place!

Great atmosphere and great staff. I am a foodie on ig @detroithalaleats and i enjoyed the food there. Everything was so good. Ill post pics of some of the delicious food that I got to enjoy. And the fact that they have a separate nonsmoking (hookah) section for the mommies is amazing. Definitely check it out.

My go to spot. You need to study on a weekday? Perfect spot. Having a party on the weekend? Perfect. Want to smoke GOOD hookah and not be over charged for it. Boom Lava is your place. Been coming here for about 4 years now....always a good experience.

I'm glad that the restaurant is able to operate during COVID times. I loved their Falafels which came as a part of Vegetarian Combo trio. Hummus was good but did not like baba ghanouj. They also have a variety of specialty coffees. I happened to try Caramel Macchiato and Cappuccino which was really disappointing. Place is a bit on the pricey end.

Beautiful lounge area & inviting & clean. The portions are huge & tasty to eat with the pita bread. The rice was my favorite! I could taste the freshness of my whole entree though. Topped off with some delicious Turkish coffee. I also like it that there is a non-hookah/smoking room so the restaurant is family friendly.

1 of the worst experience I've had maybe in my lifetime. Appetizers was good, drinks (shake & soft drinks) was decent, I don't do hookah but my friend said it was ok, our food was absolutely HORRIBLE. She took 1 bite out of her food and couldn't swallow it, I attempted to eat my salmon and chicken Alfredo and didn't even stomach the salmon.. it tasted spoiled or something just really bad that I've never experienced. The alfredo sauce was a bit nasty and very blend.. worst of all, the chicken was very under cooked. The waitress didn't even attempt to work with me on the bill. I offered to pay for just the hookah, drinks, appetizer, and tip, yet she refused to take the entrées off and didn't even offer to have it recooked for a $150 bill.. remind you for food was nearly untouched, just barely the 1 fork size bite if that.

Beautiful place, big, was kinda nice quiet when I went in. might come in when it's busier. but they have outdoor seating and it's in a nice unit/complex. The food was good I got a lemonade some mint peach hookah and pizza and couldn't complain.
