The best soul food in the city of Detroit period!!! As many times as I've been to this restaurant I have never had a problem service or the food. One time I had a minor problem and they fixed it immediately

It's centered right in the hood. Food is good but kind of expensive. But overall good homemade food.

Really not even 1 star 0 stars food was trash no seasoning mac an cheese was horrible would have been better off cooking box Mac cornbread taste like yellow cake mix where is the soul in soul food now a days please do better as a black own business when serving soul food cause this is not soul food people just out to make money an not caring what they serve the public!!!!

My food always was good and hot the could times I've been . Once I didn't get a lot of roast in my dinner but it was still good. Trying to order now and there not open yet lol. Also they catered my aunt/best friend home going and everything was amazing. Had there hallelujah which is right next door. I would highly recommend.

Best food i've ever had. The service was great, cool young guy at the counter. He was real patient with me, and also made some great recommendations.

Tried calling ahead to know what the lunch special prices were. Got put on hold. Called back the person who answered answered $10. So go pick up the baked chicken with 2 sides. I requested (breast and leg) one dark piece and one white just as the menu says. I received two small pieces one leg one thigh. Very dry and did I mention small. Sides were green beans and red beans and rice. They were ok nothing to write home about. Overall I was not impressed and still hungry as the portions are small. I will not be in a hurry to return.
