Took a few friends for dinner the seating is plentiful and the set up to cook at your table is spot on. They offer all you can eat. We opted to share a few pots as we had first timers and did not need a large meal. The waitress went over the process to order and offered recommendations. The veggies were fresh the break skewers were tasty the beef for the hot pot was a nice cut.

Came here around 11:30 on a Friday for the AYCE hot pot and was seated immediately. The waitress was very good about continuously checking in on us. Granted, the restaurant was pretty empty at the time, so I can't speak to what the conditions would be when they are busy. The method of ordering was slightly confusing, as they use a paper menu where you check off the items you want. What makes it confusing is when you want to order more items, they provide you with the same menu you initially ordered with. One thing I enjoyed was the wide selection of food and broths. The quality of the ingredients, however, was only okay, but I think it is excusable, as it is all you can eat. We were able to eat our fill and more. For the price, I think it was an overall good experience. Would come again.

I came here as part of a large group for dinner. One thing I enjoy about this restaurant is that they give you individual pots so if someone in your group doesn't like an ingredient or has a food restriction, it's a-ok. We got the all-you-can-eat dinner ($31.99). Do note that everyone in your table has to commit to this (to avoid food sharing as there's an a la carte menu). The food we ordered arrived quickly. The quality of the food was average. A lot of the ingredients came from the 168 supermarket nearby (the fish balls looked extremely familiar). It was easy to flag down the server to get more refills.I got the Lao Pot Special Soup base, which has opaque white broth with Chinese dates, goij berry, and green onion. It's pretty mild tasting, which is why I always doctor it up with the minced garlic and green onion from the sauce bar. The sauce bar was full of various condiments and had some recipes of their recommended sauce mixtures.I saw that they're going to have Korean BBQ soon. I would come back to try it!

I came here with a group of 4 - this was a pretty big space that fits a lot of people inside. They've got a ton of variety here with the various meats and organs. The sauce bar was good - I was able to make a tasty peanut sauce. There was also a good variety of broths, but the Lao soup I got was kind of bland. Pricing is reasonable considering the amount of food you get (the meat came in big platters)The sesame balls we got for dessert were good: fresh out of the fryer, crunchy on the outside, with smooth red bean paste on the inside. Service was good, as our waitress came by several times and asked if we needed anything. I think this is a solid place for hotpot and I would definitely be open to coming back in the future!

Not a very picky person, but when it comes to service it was terrible. We were sat down, took 30 minutes for the waitress to finally come around and get our order. When we finally got it, a bunch of stuff was missing or accidentally added. Also- never even got water at the table. The soup broth was basically just water with no flavor, the beef was rubbery and tasteless. I had gotten the mussels for the hotpot and I SWEAR they weren't stored properly or had gone bad. My boyfriend immediately started getting sick during our what was supposed to be a great Valentine's Day dinner, which obviously turned out to be a disaster. We watched everyone around us get proper service and people that were sat before us actually had an attentive waitress, so I suppose we were just super unlucky with the lady we got. But for a 100$ meal it was such a disappointment and we definitely expected a lot more from this place. The only decent thing I ate was the crab rangoons, and those even tasted stale like they were microwaved. Will not be going here again

Been here quite a few times since, consistent service and food quality. Spicy tallow is the way to go, my favorite out of all them now. Dining room is always clean, and I appreciate them constantly prebusing the table.

Fun place to sit with a small group and have a nice long chat over tasty hot pot cooked noms. Choose your broth and the add-ins you'll cook in your hot pot. All manner of meats, seafoods, and veggies await your selection. Can't choose just a few?--feeling extra hungry?--then opt for the AYCE "buffet." Staff will keep reloading your add-ins and broth until you're full. I love the little personal induction cookers, too--your pot gets hot, but you don't burn yourself on a hot stove. Full bar available with some fun drink specials. Staff were friendly.

Lately, I've been over the moon with the Hot Pot concept and have been frequenting man different places to compare. Lao pot happened to be one of my favorites, the tomato ox bone soup that you cook your foods in is so flavorful and I love eating the oxtails after they've tendered up on the broth. The foods are always very fresh and the experience is just what I love when dining out. I feel we're too comfortable just sitting down ordering and servers bringing us prepared foods. This way, every bite is pipping hot and fresh. Lao pot gets two stars deducted though because, I've been a few times and the dishes presented to eat out of have no been clean. Usually it would deter me from coming back but the food is so good. Just inspect your dishes and ask for clean ones if yours are not, other wise, great restaurant!

Tried their dinner menu for AYCE. Definitely more variety. Glad I tried it, but still think lunch menu is more worth it since many dinner menu options are a little weird (eg pork liver, pork brain). We did get free dessert this time though (sesame tapioca balls), so that's a plus.

Yum, yummo, and yummy! Now I could have walked in and had the $19.95 special, but nooooo I wanted to experience it all, and experience it all I did. Be prepared to pay a small fortune, just a small one, (lol), to try all your hearts desires. I ordered two different types of soup, a spicy base , and a flavorful savory base. Both were delicious. Don't play with the hot unless you are ready. I was ready, and I took it a step further by adding a hot bear. This mini orange, butter bear, a literal teddy bear delight was a violent addition to my already hot soup, but a violence I welcome any day. I got the lobster special for posting to social media..A FULLL LOBSTER! They cut it expertly so I didn't have to. I had pumpkin, squash, all sorts of mushroom, waygu, lamb, shrimp, the bounty was endless!! The service was delightful. The cocktails were delicious and plentiful with the good stuff. I'm no longer participating in the good stuff, so I cherish the memories of that day!!! Thank you Lao Pot for feeding me well, and making me feel like family while you did it!
