Regular Thai place, Amy"s - closed for vacation. Tried here for 1st.time. A carry out of drunken noodles and order of spring rolls. Noodles a bit mushy,with an odd flavor. Spring rolls were like long licorice sticks. Tucked back in a strip mall off van dyke.

My first (and last) visit happened today.The Pad Thai is a great test when you're trying a new Thai restaurant. This was an epic fail.Void of many ingredients you'd expect in a well prepared classic Thai dish, I'd say it only rice noodles and chicken with a few pieces of older, dark green scallion.Missing ingredients?Tamarind paste, fish sauce, garlic, peanuts, scallions, dried shrimp, eggs, brown sugar, rice vinegar, cilantro, carrot, bean sprouts and proper cooking techniques.It's easier to find a recipe online and make it yourself. I could feel sorry for this family run business but they're providing a grave injustice to their customers.

My family and I would definitely recommend Lanna Thai! All the food is delicious, spicy, and served at the right temperature. Though the outside of the restaurant may seem rundown, the ambience inside is the opposite. The restaurant seems to be family run, and the service is great; would highly suggest taking a visit!

The pie Thai was terrible Period. Had to add additional pod Thai sauce of my own at home. It was so dry. There was less then a tablespoon of vegetables that were green beans that were dry and shriveled. Never again will I ever recommend this restaurant?
