Lake Breeze Restaurant

This intimate little diner isn't as small as you think. Over thirty tables yet it's still a very personable place. I really just stopped in to kill time while my wife was getting her nails done. Since you can't just sit there nursing a coffee (I guess you could), I ordered a bowl of Italian wedding soup that came with a large bread and butter basket, crackers and breadsticks.The soup was fantastic and they make a pretty decent cup of coffee, so no complaints. I'm not sure if my server was Izzy or that's just the name on the check, but she's about the friendliest you'll ever meet. I'm glad I came in today and hope we can work it into our busy schedule to return! 07/23

Fantastic local gem for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! The restaurant is quaint with a family-friendly atmosphere. Pictured is their delicious strawberry waffles, meat lovers skillet, and farmers omelette (has hash browns baked into it)! I also love their chicken stir fry, grilled chicken pita, and fish and chips! There are sooo many entree choices and you can't go wrong with any. Food comes fast and hot with huge portions, and happy service! Dinner is served with a side, soup or salad, and dessert! Definitely a prime family restaurant to check out

We had fish & chips here tonight. It was very busy but we waited about 5 minutes for a table. Our drink order was taken promptly & our waitress took our orders about 10 minutes later. She was very nice & smiled a lot. She didn't look frazzled at all. Our food was hot & fresh & very good.

Bread Basket, Cabbage Soup,Breakfast Gyro Omelette, slim Jim, Greek salads, double cheese burger... the food was very delicious and well priced. Staff was very friendly. Great family restaurant.

As always my country omelet was delicious . Hash browns could have been crispier, but none the less still good. I also ordered the raisin bread toast and that was great with the orange marmalade. My wife ordered the corned beef sandwich with fries and she commented that the sandwich was mostly sauerkraut and so much corned beef. She also mentioned the fries seemed like they refried and soggy-ish. Service is always great and quick as usual and the waitresses are always nice and friendly. Ambiance could be updated, but it is what it is. I'll be back

Started off with the cream of broccoli soup. It was thick as paste with no taste at all. For my main course I ordered the stuffed cabbage. When it came there was steam rolling off of it. Must of been in the microwave forever. It was nasty as could be. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about and the corn was very bland and tuff. As far as the waitress goes she spent more time bullshitting with the customers. Needless to say I won't be going back. It totally SUCKED !!!!

Always good food and service. Well staffed and good old comfort food!~I have a friend who is a connoisseur of meat loaf and swiss steak and likes these at Lakebreeze.I like the Greek salad and sandwiches.

Service is good, prices are nice. Local diner food. Ambiance is of a local diner as well.

We haven't been frequenting this family diner for a couple years now & have always been satisfied with the large choice of good food and service. But the last two times we've gone to dinner have been questionable. The most recent was Monday 7/15/24 & the time before that was Wed 6/26/24 & they didn't have ice because the machine is broke both times! The hostess served us a glass of warm almost hot "iced" tea with no ice! You would think someone would be stocking up on bags of ice from the store. The air was also pretty stuffy in there, granted it's summer and the temps are high, but it didn't feel like the air was working at all. And lastly, for the food: the coleslaw was pretty much diced cabbage; barely any carrot. Finding coleslaw I like is rare, but I did like the flavor, just wish more restaurants used shredded coleslaw. And I ordered stuffed cabbage & asked for no sauce on my mashed potatoes and they came covered in sauce. In short, we may be looking for a new family diner.
