La Petite Pastry Shoppe

Stopped in here after eating at a restaurant in the same strip mall. Had no idea what to expect. When I walked in, I asked the individual behind the counter what she would recommend. She related the bumpy cake and cherry nut cake. I had one of each and they both were very tasty. They also had real buttercream and not the fake stuff. Of the two, I'd say the cherry nut cake was my favorite. Never had anything like it before and it was very moist. Will stop by again soon!

My sister and mom called around forGluten Free cupcakes while I was in town. These were unbelievable. My sister first bought some to try before making a big order and had my nephew try them. He is a very picky eater and loved them!!! I agree!! I was only home for a short visit (one night) and ate three of them in two hours. The frosting is too die for!! If you or anyone you know are gluten intolerant this cupcake will satisfy your sweet craving!!! I have tasted baked goods from around the country and these by far are thee best cupcakes!!

We had a full sheet cake for our company Christmas party. The cake was so good and moist and the frosting is amazing! It is tasty, not too sweet and so light and fluffy. There were so many compliments on the cake!All their pastries are delicious too!

Love their cakes. The frosting is buttercream and is delicious. I order their cakes for all my birthday parties and holidays and always get so many compliments! Best cakes around- always moist and fresh. Brownies are also very good. Got a cake last December for my husband's retirement party and everyone was impressed by the look and the taste. Been ordering from them for about 25 years and will continue as long as they remain in business! Best bakery in our area!

The cake they made for a birthday was delicious. They crafted it in under 24 hours. I saw great 5 star reviews so I figured i'd give them a try. i needed this cake for a birthday that same weekend. They are very kind friendly and solution oriented for whatever problem you have. call them asap! I also tried their cookies and they are delicious too!

Stopped here on a whim and staff was very nice. Very good selection especially since it was nearly closing time. The items we purchased were good. The only problem was the person who rang us up seemed a little confused and overcharged us. Wheelchair accessible!

Stopped into La Petite for the first time to buy a box cookies and unfortunately had the worst customer service I've had in a long time. From the minute I walked in the door, the older white woman (possibly the owner?) working behind the counter made me feel completely uncomfortable. She did not greet me with "hello", "how are you?", "how may I help you?" NOTHING. So rude! I asked her for the price of the display box of cookies sitting on the counter and she said it was $10ish. I was under the impression that I could fill up the box for around $10 or so, so I picked out the cookies to fill the box and added a mini cake on the side. When it came time to pay, my total was $25. Unbeknownst to me, she added an extra box of cookies to my order and when I questioned her on the price/extra box, she gave me an attitude. I explained to her that I only wanted one box of cookies, not two, and she was quick to tell me all about the cookies I had chosen. I said yes, but I only wanted to fill the standard box and you took it upon yourself to add on ANOTHER half size box that I did not ask for. She was rude and combative so I immediately asked her to cancel my order. She did not offer an apology, or a chance to remove the unwanted box of cookies. I cancelled the order and will never step foot in that bakery again.

Tuesday is Bear Claw Day and we try to get there early before they run out. These are flaky pastry with almond paste inside, and a light glaze with almonds on the top. Perfect texture, tender and flaky, and the filling is pure almond paste, and a lot of it. They also make about 10 different small pastries that we have a difficult time choosing from -- but my favorite of the whole variety is the ganache bars. These are the perfect size for a not-so-sinful dessert but with all the satisfaction. The cake part is made with almond flour, and the top is chocolate ganache. There are large pastries of all sorts, a huge variety of cakes and cheesecakes (and by the slice on both, too!) and cookies. Every last thing we've tried in the two or three years since we found La Petite has been the best - no bakery can beat them.

Always has the best pastries! Apple pie is amazing and the bumpy cake is out of this world! Keep up the good work

This used to be my favorite bakery for their poured cake. It was so amazing! Last year I had to give up gluten, so I haven't been back in a while. But today my husband brought home a gluten free poured cake from there, and it was amazing! He said everyone that he talked to there was so friendly! So glad they do gluten free cakes!!
