This was a great surprise of a restaurant. We wanted to try a Mexican restaurant outside of Mexican Town in Detroit and we hit the jackpot. Very authentic indeed. The food was very good. Our order got messed up because we did not speak Spanish but that was part of the experience. Try this place for something different in southwest Detroit.

Run to Palapa del Parian!Excellent service, food, and atmosphere... the total package! I highly suggest this restaurant. The mole sauce is SO good, and the horchata is the best!! Look at the size of the burrito!!!Mariachi band on Sunday afternoons, too!

They just changed the menu here. I could tell from the minute I walked into the door. My nose got it right they have a new menu come here and try the green pozel. The beef skewers have a great taste and it worth to have them caldo de cameron (shrimp soup). This place is very lively and clean they have very good staffing. Like I always say with enjoyable comes complete when you have great service. I will also be brutally honest if you wake up with a hangover come down here the next day. That's is all. Chief The sound of a woman's voice will calm a man's soul.

This place pretty much never disappoints. If you've had food from their food trucks around SW then you'll love this restaurant. Delicious and affordable hearty portions. I got the Tinga Gordita dinner. The juicy tinga meat really ties this meal together.

Great spot for authentic Mexican food. I've been here quite a few times and always enjoy my experience. I love the Birria Tacos the margaritas are delicious! The staff are amazing, too.

I've been to many restaurants in Mexican town and this is by far the best! The food is very fresh and authentic and the portions are huge. Service is excellent and they offer a selection of incredible salsas with the food. If you dine in for lunch they give you a free soup appetizer. Margarita was delicious, you can tell they use fresh ingredients. I will definitely be back!

The ambience is so cute! The pictures on the wall are bright and cute. The chairs are super comfortable and cute. Definitely a place to take family and friends. We had botanas to start with and their botanas were different from ones I've had in the past. I was hesitant at first but, I have to admit I loved it. Definitely my new favorite spot to go and grab a botana from. (Armando's used to be my favorite but their food quality has vastly declined). The waitress we had wasn't attentive at all. She wasn't able to give us any recommendations for an entree either. However, another woman noticed us having a difficult time with her and she stepped in to help us get out bill, refills, and the tortillas I waited over 20 minutes for that came wi to my meal. All in all the food quality is fantastic! I would def recommend stopping by this spot to eat :)

One of our new favorite Mexican restaurants hidden in SW Detroit. The service is always great and the food is always incredible and authentic. We've visited the food truck before but the sit down restaurant offers so many options. I'm always craving their Birria tacos, perfectly tender with the crispy shell and flavorful dipping juice. They are always a 10/10! Every single time. The Birria noodles are a great change for the winter months and when I say this serves multiple people, I mean it serves multiple people! We had leftovers for days and you can always add in extra noodles at home. Would absolutely recommend!

Food was delicious. Assigned wait staff was horrible to say the least. Never have I felt more racially profiled in my life. I expressed my disappointment to management. Perhaps our waitress simply didn't care as gratuity was already included due to our party size. Definitely had no incentive to leave extra...if anything I'm due refund. After a 30 minute commute to a new establishment for us...we would have been better off going to fast food restaurant instead. Dine at your own risk if you don't mind being ignored, degraded, eye-rolling this is your restaurant.
