I wanted to try something new so my friend and I went to La Marsa in Plymouth. This is a franchise and we discovered most of the food is prepared at an off site kitchen and brought in to the restaurant. We were told to sit anywhere upon arrival. Our server greeted us and took our drink order. We started with the babaganoush. It was smoky and delicious. The homemade bread was hot and so good. We then shared the Greek salad. Cold,fresh and well dressed. I ordered the spinach pies and my friend had the Koshary, an authentic Egyptian meal. On the menu it states mild or spicy. She was not asked for a spice level. The fried onions on top of the dish were greasy. The spinach pies were tasty but could have been filled more. The service was good but when it came time to pay we were informed their system was down and had been down for over a day and we either had to pay cash or leave our credit card information with them for them to charge the bill later. Why not inform the diner before placing an order in case they don't have cash and/or are not comfortable leaving their information? Luckily we could pay cash. Overall, good food, good service, clean quiet space but , a few missteps.

First impressions are EVERYTHING! The kind hearted server gentleman greeted us like family! "Welcome Home" Finally! A legit Mediterranean restaurant that provides 5 star service & high quality cuisine! So happy I'm local because I will absolutely be back! I especially loved the flavors - perfect balance of citrus & spices! They just opened! You will not regret dining here! PERFECTION!

I moved to Plymouth about a year ago, and while there are lots of good restaurants in the area, there wasn't a great Mediterranean restaurant... until now. The food is excellent, the presentation is beautiful, and the service was excellent. We left with full bellies and smiles on our faces. We'll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful family dinner at La Marsa (Plymouth, MI) after our son's wedding. Our dinner guests loved the food. We ordered the family dinner of deboned chicken with lemon sauce, rice, hummus, fatoush and fresh pita bread. The service was outstanding! The staff treated us like we were a part of their family and the restaurant was our home. Thank you to the staff at La Marsa for helping make our family dinner so special and memorable.

Yesterday I got food from laMarsa Plymouth. The restaurant has been open for a few weeks. The place is very welcoming great service and even most importantly the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant. I've been to the store in South Lyon. And couldn't wait to have one closer.
