Ok I'll admit it... I have an obsession with Mediterranean food! I think I would eat it everyday if I could afford it! I was sooooo happy when I discovered how close this location was to my home. Most Mediterranean restaurants are populated mostly in Dearborn. So it's special when you find one in Detroit. This was a very smart decision on the owners part to open here. Based on the lack of availability of Mediterranean restaurants I'm sure they get a lot of foot traffic. Not only is it close....IT'S GOOD! They are fast, cordial, and have great service! I've ordered the chicken gallaba sandwich, the crushed lentil soup, and the chicken fattoush salad. Those are 3 of my favorite dishes.

Ordered take out for a large number of people. Service was prompt and friendly. Their portions are generous, especially the platters. Love the tabouli and stuffed grape leaves.

I'd rather them say that the Spinach Pie is no longer on the menu, especially if it looks like this. Did not match the picture on the wall at all! Spanokopita. Someone was very lazy ensuring butter was on each layer of the phyllo dough. What a bummer; this can be a very delicious dish if prepared correctly. The onions and tomatoes were very fresh.

Love this place. The Hummus is great, and I really like their lentil soup. It's right by my house. So when I'm craving some mediterranean food and I don't feel like traveling to Dearborn, this is the place. They work well with substitutions (fries, rice or salad). The staff is friendly and helpful.

I and other neighborhood patrons of LK have noted recently (april 2021) in other forums that they are not observing COVID safety protocols. The counter cashier is always without face mask, there is no safety barrier, and it appears like kitchen staff is also maskless.I have been a regular, supportive customer, but I am refraining from patronizing La Kabob, for now, until I hear they're concerned with the health and safety of their customers.

It's rare to find a Middle Eastern restaurant in this area (Dearborn is the main area for this type of cuisine). I placed my order online through their website. I ordered cup of lemon chicken rice soup, a fattoush salad and a side of garlic sauce. The order was confirmed by the restaurant and restaurant would update order status. After 30 minutes I noticed order was not getting updated so I decided to go to restaurant to inquire. Once I arrived told the young lady I placed an online order and was there to get it. She informs me that the restaurant never received order. I show her the confirmation text message and she gives me a blank look and repeats that they never received my order. I reorder and wait another 15 mins on order. Do not place an order online through their website bc the restaurant may never receive it). What was the point of offering online ordering? The food: soup was extra thick and tasted like it had too much nutmeg. The salad was a disappointment as well. It just wasn't balanced (too many onions and not enough tomatoes. Is there a shortage?). I'm not sure if I'd return here.

This is my go to spot when Im on my way to work. The lamb chop dinner is on the high end but it's well work every dime! Lunch specials and dinner deals. I've always had a good experience here.

$54 for some flavorless food I got the meat and hummus diner and the chicken kebab dinner both had no flavor also one of dinners said $17 on the menu but I was $21 when I came In to purchase. The yellow rice was also very bland I hesitated when I thought about ordering and now I wish I would have went with my first mind. Would not recommend gave two stars because the guy at the front was nice and the smoothies where good. If I wanted a decent smoothie I'd return but I would never order food From here again a day in my life. The price doesn't match the quality I feel ripped off.
