Not bad, but definitely not amazing.

Lunch was served with this soup. SUPER salty and inedible. I'd request them to hold it next time.

This restaurant is "plain and simple" inside and out, but that's just fine with me because the food is not. The salsa's are true to their name: mild is so delicious I could eat it like a cold soup and the hot has enough zing/ heat to slow your chip dipping pace, but still coming back for more. Guacamole is smooth and doesn't break your chip, but their chips are heartier than most restaurants. I had beef and cheese taco dinner (3) with nicely blended beans and a mildly seasoned side of rice. The restaurant is larger inside, with a bar that a small handful of guests can sit at; booths and tables for up to 6. Interior decor is basic, clean and comfortable. I'm happy to continue supporting this local business and encourage you to do the same!

Well we showed up here and the parking lot had only 4 cars in it so I kind of figured it wasn't a popular place, it's not very authentic because some of the authentic food items u would want on a Mexican menu are not here ( tacos de lingua, carne asada burritos, flourtas etc) the staff was very friendly and they gave us a complimentary basket and salsa, it was quite cold inside the restaurant though as if they had the A.C. cranked. I had the Tacos de Carbon because they had nothing else I wanted and when it got here they brought it in efficient time but the beans were a little cold and the meat had no flavor, very plain. The rice was actually the best tasting item on the plate. I wouldn't say I wouldn't eat here again but I'm glad I tried it and got it out of the way.

The food here is great. I like the quesadillas and rice. The staff are nice and the service is great. Most of the time there are not many people there, but around the dinner hours it can get busy. I defiantly recommend this place.

This is right next to my work, but I still don't plan on returning. The food is very bland Tex-Mex. The salsa has the consistency of water - there is no hint of the vegetables that sourced this atrocity. The chips tasted a bit stale or soft-ish and didn't have enough salt. The meat was bland, and the burrito was greasy. As other reviewers mentioned, the interior was tired and felt a bit on the dirty side. It's not usually busy at lunch nor dinner time, and with lots of other good Mexican and Tex-Mex options nearby, I can see why.

Found this place by accident. I ordered basic tacos. Beef, onion, and cilantro with corn tortillas. I had had to ask for my tortillas to be double stacked. I'm 43 and this has always been the standard on a taco with corn. They didn't even put the tortillas 9n the flat grill. Tbis I also thought was basic practice on a authentic taco. They went very light on the onion and cilantro. Cmon its a basic taco lol. Also the sign where they say the bank charges 4 cents for every dollar I say is BS. Won't be coming back. Taylor is pretty close to Detroit. Drive the extra 20 min and get some real authentic mexican.

Awesome spot for Mexican food, enchiladas with green sauce are my favorite here. Salsa is that smooth Americanized style water salsa. Which we like a lot over the chunky version. Mixed steak and chicken fajitas are awesome too

Growing up this used to be in Detroit and this was a staple in our family when another Mexican restaurant shut down. I have gone here and there when the location changed and I wanted to go a couple times during Corona but they were shut down. I read one review where they charge literally for everything and I assumed yes sour cream jalapenos I get that. What I was not expecting was to be charged for extra chips and salsa. My problem it was not disclosed or on the menu. I was offered another basket, btw were not really filled and the sauce cups are pretty small. I declined lucky i did. The queso flameado tasted and looked like hamburger meat very soupy with tomatoes and not very much cheese. They only serve it with 3 tortillas. This is an appetizer between 2 people. Now that third basket would of came in handy for all that I had left over. When I got the bill I was shocked. An additional $5 to my bill. I do not know if this is a new thing because of Corona bc I do not recall this in the past, but there is far better places to go and on top of it will not be nickelodeon and dimmed. Way over paid for half filled baskets. I will no longer be a continued patron and if you guys keep this up you will be losing business which honestly looks like it has been happening because your never busy.

I've eaten in and gotten take-out a couple times now. This is a pretty good Mexican place. Entrees run anywhere from $8 to $15. The chicken they use is moist and flavorful. Their red enchilada sauce has a spicy kick and the rice has always been fresh and tasty. Their "salsa" is actually hot sauce... so if you're a chunky salsa lover, you won't find it here. The service is probably the only thing they really need to work on, because the servers seem to congregate in the back instead of tending to the tables. There's a full bar and televisions if you want to stop in just for a drink... but I suggest sitting down for a nice dinner.

Food here is great, service is awesome. That being said, the only complaint I have is the menu online. PLEASE have someone put your menu online. Don't take a picture of the menu and post it. Hard to read, never centered and blurry.
