EVERY thing went well!!! Myself n my son came here for my birthday and when I tell u everything went well.... It went beyond well!! We were greeted at the door and could hear the old school R & B playing outside as we walked up and played the entire time we was there!! The ambience is very chill, ur able to converse very easily n enjoy the vibe n music as well!! We was seated immediately and able to order n get our drinks n water quickly! My son ordered a Raz Drink, I had the Raz Driink and The Sage Drink both very very good!! We had the La Mista Salad the we shared (huge) but very good!!! Our entrees, I ordered The Chefs Sea Bass (OMG melts in ur mouth delicious) and my son had a pasta dish!! Delicious and then for desert we shared the Crème Brulee Cheesecake delicious!! Our server Sam, was very attentive, and she explained the menu to a tee!! Now, the owner Stetson was a gem, came over and wished me a happy birthday personally, very personable, great personality and a GREAT cook to top it off!! Very down to earth!! Will definitely be back cuz I hear it's a whole other give during the summer outside!! Thanks for a GREAT birthday!!!

The service was very good. Friendly attentive service. Looks like they had a remodel inside. Nice remodel to a more modern look. The ambience the old looked more romantic. The steak tops appetizer was very very good. The chicken parm was equally as good. The chicken piccata was way too salty, had zero sauce and contained lots of mushrooms, not a very good piccata. Drinks were decent. Overall probably would not go back as the prices were way too much for what you get.

The food at La Dolce Vita was decent enough--flavors were well-balanced, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the overall experience was marred by shockingly poor service. From start to finish, the staff appeared inattentive and disengaged. It took quite a while to even place our order, and when the food finally arrived, it was riddled with mistakes.Several items we ordered were incorrect, and despite multiple attempts to catch the attention of a server, it felt as though we were invisible. When we did manage to flag someone down, they seemed more annoyed than helpful, and correcting the orders took even longer. While the food quality was passable, the lackluster and error-prone service left a bad taste. With so many options available, I'd hesitate to recommend this place unless they address their service issues.

My Bestfriend took me here to celebrate my birthday. I love the inside. There was live music that I got to enjoy while eating. I got the shrimp pasta and a cucumber drink. I can't wait to come back in the summer. I want to try out the patio.

This was my first time ever coming here but my friends love this place for brunch. This hidden gem has a beautiful outdoor patio but unfortunately it was raining when I went. Inside the restaurant is painted this bright pink that is gorgeous for brunch vibes. My friends and I were quickly seated at the bar and placed our orders. The food was very flavorful and well seasoned. One of my friends ordered the salmon hash and it tasted really good. I would like to return during their dinner service to see how the restaurant transforms into an Italian restaurant.

My review is based on the combination of accessibility and overall quality of the restaurant. Accessibility is there to getting into the restaurant, however getting to the bathroom would prove a challenge if you were by yourself. There is a steep ramp up to the restrooms and the handicap restroom was currently out of order and the other style was way too tiny for anyone with mobility issues or devices to access.Food delicious we had brunch a couple of the eggs, pennies and their egg platter and everything was quite delicious. The potatoes were especially tasty.

My wife and I just finished dinner at LDV this evening. The restaurant was a little hard to see while driving down Woodward, and we actually passed it up. (If you see the coin laundry, you went past it) We sat at a fairly worn-out booth near the bar. Our server was Rico, who was excellent! We started out evening with a few drinks; smoked old fashion $18 and a Lagavulin 16 $39. Pretty steep for drinks, IMO. The old fashion was OK (7/10). We ordered the antipasto plate; it had 5 lunch meats that were rolled up and two cheeses that were sliced like matchsticks, with some bread and tomato jam? Not sure what the spread was since the bread was significantly burnt, but the Chef hid the burnt pieces under the unburnt pieces. It was OK, but there was no wow factor. I had the pappardelle and meatballs. I thought the sauce was good, but there was just way too much of it. Great flavor, little thin and soupy with 4 smaller meatballs. We also ordered some wine. Both selections were the restaurants own; zinfandel and a red blend. They were decent and would try again. We ordered tiramasu and Crème brûlée cheesecake. The tiramasu was good, but the cheesecake had a pastry crust that tasted like raw flour. Overall, I didn't feel the restaurant lived up to the prices. The service was great, but the food was middle-of-the-road, at best. I don't think I would try it again.

Ambiance starts from the outside - they have the prettiest courtyard - absolutely Instagramable! Lights and statues and dramatic wall. Try to get a table by the window to overlook all that prettiness Service starts from the front door - from greetings to attentive service. And, luckily, the food doesn't disappoint either. Can't go wrong with any dish. Absolutely loved chicken marsala and lasagna. Unfortunately this time they ran out of calamari :(. Maybe next time!

We've been coming here for 20 years and it's still a great place to eat. We've only done brunch but other friends say dinner is great too. Summer time is best when you can sit outside in their beautiful patio. Huge portions so you won't go hungry, good prices, yummy drinks and coffee. They're doing some renovations inside so it'll be nice to see how they make some updates.Valet parking is mandatory so if you don't want that, you need to park in the neighborhood.

I had to apologize to my group for bringing them here for a birthday dinner. Service was okay and food came out at different times and 2 out of 5 people didn't even eat their meal. Thanks!
