LA Coney Island

Giving them 5 stars because their service was so amazing. Appears to be a family business with a LOT of family members working there. The ladies were so lovely & sincere. The carry out order was carefully bagged so things stayed warm. I would go back if I lived in the area.

If you think this is another run-of-the-mill Coney Island, think again. Not to name names, but some places (which are, ahem, National) serve you dry chicken and crappy chili, and expect you to come back for more...and some of you do, so they keep putting out swill.But, LA Coney Island really seems to care about the food they serve. The chicken on their salads is always - ALWAYS - perfectly prepared. Ask for Kathy, and she'll happily let my wife ask for the most absurd customizations on that salad...and get them right every time.Dang...we went to The Whitney, and they screwed up some pretty basic things. And we paid a small fortune for that! While we had to wait for the privilege of having our order mangled at The Whitney, LA Coney Island is always surprisingly quick, no matter how busy they are. Take that, fancy pants Whitney!But, remember, this is still a Coney Island, so the prices are dirt cheap. So, besides nailing every detail on your order, and preparing food flawlessly, it won't set you back very much. The breakfast is always excellent, even if the home fries are merely okay. Come in Wednesday for dollar coney dogs (with good chili on them) and fries, and take home a few for your family.I'm not worried that my great review will bring too much business and mess up this great thing I have here. Bring it on: LA Coney Island can handle it, and still provide great service and great food.

Love this little Coney Diner all the waitresses are really nice and bubbly the food is amazing and really cheap one of my favorite spots for breakfast

The food here is always good and the service is always great! Not only in person but when we call to place an order over the phone the ladies are always so pleasant! It's very refreshing!

I often stop at LA Coney Island for breakfast on the weekend before heading out to shop,so that's what I'm reviewing here. They have awesome breakfasts at reasonable prices, and the service can't be beat! The cook makes scrambled eggs perfectly, just a little undercooked so they're creamy.LA Coney Island is nothing fancy, just solid food. The parking is a little odd, you have to drive around their billboard base that's right in the middle of the lot, but it's not a big deal unless it's full. It's always clean inside and the waitresses are really friendly. It's a good, solid coney island.

Good breakfast, ate here three days in a row. Cheaper than anyplace I've been, food just as good. A working man's joint (family owned), worth eating here.

This is my favorite Coney Island in the area. Very nice staff and the food is always fresh and delicious. Can't go wrong wether you are in the mood for breakfast, lunch, or dinner at any time of the day!

CHECK YOUR BILL!!! Been coming here for years and recently they've been adding extra charges to the bill and 3rd time it happened was the final straw...thought they were good people but that wasn't so. Take your business elsewhere to not be robbed

Well, I've been in before, and the food was basic diner sort, and tasty. I was in the area and really, really wanted a basic ham and cheese omelette. However, it's Coronavirus season. Seeing more staff than not (four of seven, perhaps?) wearing masks incorrectly or not at all, I left. Sorry.

Clean, great food, love their coffee! People are courteous; service is quick; prices are reasonable. Food is cooked as ordered. Intentionally returned and plan to return.
