L Georges Coney Island

Unfortunately no pictures from this visit. This place look pretty unique from the pictures and the reviews seemed pretty good as well so decided to give it a shot. However, don't think I'll be back. Tried a few if their Coney dogs, and although they weren't bad, they all just looked and tasted the exact same. Just a heads up, there's also only bar stool seating inside, and pretty limited. From the pictures I saw it seemed like they had tables at one point, but no longer there.

Good food prepared quickly at reasonable prices.I practically grew up eating at coney diners in Detroit. This is the closest to my home, so I've been a patron here on and off for many years.The food is always good and fresh. The grilled chicken pitas and salads are my favorite items.The tiny restaurant is generally clean and the service is usually quick.There's mostly carry out service, but there is a counter and a few booths if you'd like to eat in. I'd rather not ever, but to each their own. The parking lot gets crowded when they are busy, which they usually are.It's best to call order in for quick pick up.This establishment is cash only; and make sure that you are calling the correct location...there are a few in the area.

Awesome with a side of awesome!! They finally became honest in prices , they lose a star for not being my favorite food place on Sunday but the chicken quesadillas can't be beat. Love the cash only side of it as there is no service fees. Great food

They follow specific order instructions that you want and the food is really good! Love this place

My go-to spot. The restaurant itself is simple, nothing major but who cares? The food is cheap, BOMB and is a must whenever I'm home and need a taste of home.My faves are the French toast or pancake breakfast, loose burgers and chili cheese fries with squeeze.

The grilled chicken salad is losing its appeal. Lately, I've tried this and the lettuce and tomato is limited and I got the chicken on the side just to show how I barely had salad left. Please go back to the old way before you lose more business.

Don't let the older building fool you. The food is amazing. Especially the grilled chicken.

ordered 2 chili fries and 1 regular frie on 04/04/24 all of the potatoes were not cooked. almost like they came directly from the freezer and were microwaved. they were horrible. I will not be returning.
