Just stopped by for a quick post bar bite and felt unsafe as it is rather sketchy (employees are behind plexiglass). Employees were very nice though.As for the food, it's ok, not the worst but not the best either. Ordered two chili dogs each which were the perfect size and an order of fries (crinkle cut, my fave). Food was freshly made and the best part were the fries. Unfortunately, the chili gave me indigestion.

Who doesn't love L George's. When it's late night, and everything is closed, you can always depend on Coney Island. The veggie omelet was great, hash browns cooked just like I like them (crispy, not burnt).

I was close by and needed to get a quick lunch, so I saw this Coney Island restaurant and thought I'd try it. Inside is small compared to other Coney restaurants. Not very clean. Floors needed to be swept and tables left un-bussed when I got in. Looks like this place does a lot of takeout. Prices are reasonable.Placed my order pretty quick, but service for coffee was slow, as well as the check. My drink came after the food was served. Not impressed and would consider food to be mediocre. My omelette was supposed to has green peppers in it which was missing. Not a place to go for lunch if you are in a hurry. Nothing compared to my regular Coney Island that I regularly visit.

Burned my food and then got rude with me when I called to tell them it was burned. When I asked to speak with a manager the woman on the phone hung up on me. When I called back and requested a manager again and told her someone hung up in my face it was the same young lady that was in the phone now claiming to be the manager. She continued to tell me how I was passive aggressive and apparently that's why I got hung on. I don't know what's going on in that establishment but take your money else where. They are ignorant. The whole experience rubbed me the wrong way and left a bad taste in my mouth. They refused to give my husband any names or information for the owner when he asked. Claimed there was a shift change and they couldn't provide names or contact info for the owner. Interesting needless to say but I'm going to make sure I spread the word to who ever is willing to listen because this was a disgusting experience all in all.From the food to the look of the establishment down to the customer service. If you take my order and not take my name down and I come In and say what I had why sit there and have a attitude loook dumb and not give me my food YES my man ordered the food I'm in side the pick it up clearly both standing right here. It's always our 1st stop when we hit town. Since, moving out of state, years ago, we crave Coney Island. So, it's gotta be good when we get it and this is the Best on the Westside. A Greek Salad with Chicken (ranch dressing), Chili Cheese Fries (sliced cheese), 1 Cheeseburger Deluxe, and 2 Coney's with everything. Perfect every time!

My family and I have been going here since the interior was brown and they served food and coffee on hard plates and in brown mugs. So it pains me to say: we off that. The half portions and stale toast aren't really cool. Especially if the owners apparently have enough resources to open a new location in the suburbs? Don't squeeze me so you can afford a new investment lol. Nah. And the grilled vegetables and hash browns for the omelette breakfast are going to be burnt every time? Nope. Not to mention they're apparently only paying staff $10/hr? Hopefully the owners figure it out because this place used to be the best on the west & the people who work the front are always kind. Dang.
