Kuzzos Chicken & Waffles

Really great chicken and waffles! The biggest downfall with this place is the service. You can't ever come here if you're in a rush because the are extremely slow. But the food is worth the wait!

I am not happy with my experience the service was terrible extremely slow although there wasn't a lot of people here. The chicken tasted old and was very greasy. The waffle was cold and soggy. The kool-aid was probably the only good thing about my meal

I really enjoyed their chicken and waffles. The restaurant is really cool as well. I am a sucker for chicken and waffles and Kuzzo's definitely hit the spot.

My best friend & I went & sat at the bar. Great food & customer service. The restaurant is clean & bright. The noise level is average. I prefer the bar side over the main dining area. The salmon croquettes were good. The greens were seasoned so well! Hands down my favorite!! Blue koolaid, 10/10. The chicken was cool. I like mine fried harder but I can see how people love it.

I LOVE chicken and waffles and frequented this spot a lot when it first opened. The food is great. The service not so much. The last three times I've gone is was consistently bad. The food continues to be the draw for me to return.

I travel a bit. Kinda eat breakfast all over the country. I had heard about Kuzzo, but never experienced it. The food. All the food was cold, the grits were bland and watery,the waffle was flat and seemed like a used leftover pancake from the previous day. I was surprised the chef would let this get out of his/her kitchen. The catfish inside meat was runny as well, yet crunchy, so another words didn't seem fully cooked. The service was great. Friendly, informative, and aware of the dishes. Unfortunately the food and the prices do not match

Kuzzos has recently undergone a major restructuring and reopening in the past 6-8 months. That being said, not much progress has been made since the original closing. A fresh new coat of paint and some new artwork on the walls will not erase the memory of Detroiters who have suffered at the hands of the careless staff at Kuzzos. We went here, ordered and never received drinks or food. I'm pretty sure the staff just forgot about us. We ended up leaving and going somewhere else.

The server & service was good.The food was great...BigRed Waffle & Chicken Wings The food came out quick They never have a sugar substitute, though. I've been there several times & I'm told the owner will be getting it.The owner needs to keep some on hand.

Don't come in on Sunday's unless you want to wait really long. Ordered carry-out, the order was wrong so had to bring it back. Still waited another hour to receive correct order.

The food was delicious. It took a while to get our drinks, but the waitress apologized for the wait. I thought it was going to take long to get our food too, but I was surprised it came out fast. Love the ambiance and the place was clean.
