I was looking for a lunchtime treat and was excited to try a new bubble tea place! I've almost never had bubble tea that I haven't enjoyed, but nevertheless Kung Fu Tea had some unique qualities that I particularly liked.Focusing on the tea itself, their drinks are pretty customizable. Maybe I just need to explore more in the realm of boba places, but I was excited to see that you can even customize how much sugar you want in your tea. Hadn't experienced that with boba before! I went with the 30% sugar option because I generally don't do sweet tea, but this was my first time ordering here so I wanted to get a gauge on the sweetness. I ordered the taro milk tea (my go to, I'll admit) with the mango jellies (I'm a sucker for those). It was delicious! I now know for next time that I can definitely go with the "zero" sugar option, because for me even the 30% was just slightly sweeter than I'd normally go for, but it was still very tasty. I can't even imagine how sweet the 120% sugar would be!Next time I stop in, I'm going to try something new! But as far as my go-to taro milk tea, I'd say Kung Fu is definitely up to snuff.

Best boba I've found since moving to Michigan from Cali. My favorite is the matcha green tea with boba. This place is always clean and staff is very friendly.

Place:The Kung Fu Tea is a great place to grab a drink!Service:The service is great and employees are nice. Food/price:They also have chicken which really good. Sometimes a little greasy but also good. They are of course known for boba. Audience:Great for all audience because it can be for family & friends!Recommend/tips?I recommend it. I am really glad there is one in Rochester!

Don't come out this way much anymore but had plenty to do on this side of town and was in much need of boba! I had boba earlier in the week somewhere new but closer and was sadden deeply. Today made up for that no doubt! One thing I can say about Kung fu tea is my drinks are always consistent. I don't modify my drinks usually keep them as is! Friendly staff, very big open space!

If you like crispy fried chicken (like me) TKK Fried Chicken is the place to be!They also offer a wide variety of teas (kungfuteausa) with a lot of topping options.I ordered the spicy crispy chicken sandwich and ayogurt drink with orange and mango jelly. Everything was delicious!Tip: Definitely try their sweet chilly sauce! BTW, they say Kung Fu Tea on the outside but Kung Fu Tea and TKK are the same place.

Love all of their options. This is one of my favorite bubble tea places, sometimes though, the employees seem bothered or too busy. I just hate feeling like a burden and rushed to order my drink. Regardless, still love their drinks. Love the company, every location is very clean and the drinks are perfect. I will continue to support all their locations. I've gone to all of them in Michigan. Hoping they get closer to Detroit soon!

I guess I don't get the whole relationship between Kung Fu Tea and the TKK Chicken establishment. That being said I can only reflect on TKK chicken as I haven't yet tried any of the teas from Kung Fu. I ordered two 3-piece chicken combination dinners.1 regular recipe and one spicy recipe.For just under $9 per dinner you get: 3 strips of chicken ( think chicken fingers) a biscuit and 1 side ( slaw, mash potatoes w/ gravy or shishito peppers) The chicken is quite good. A light batter and moist chicken with a crispy, crunchy fried finish. Depending on your appetite, the dinner combo may not cut it. The sides are small but very tasty. I'll try the quarter chicken dinner next time as the chicken is quite good. FYI, there are no takeout menus available. There's an app your supposed to download if you're so inclined.

We had the mango slush last time, decided to try out their passion fruit slush today, added mango pops and the bobas to it too. They have these big wicker tables and big cushy wicker chairs in the front. There's quite a lot of counter seats and lots of low and high top seats too. The passion fruit slush is so cold and refreshing and fruity. The mango pops are a nice compliment to the passion fruit and the bobas are nice, soft and chewy.
