Kruse & Muer In the Village

Kruse & Muer is one of my favorite go to restaurants. I really enjoy the really helpful waitstaff here and I also really enjoy the tortellini with Vodka sauce and some freshly grilled chicken with some cheese on top. It can be very noisy but the wait for the food is worth it for a nice night out or you can do their take out area and they will make your food from scratch whether you order at a table or at the take out counter. I would recommend giving this location a try.

This happened a couple of weeks ago- but I waited an hour for my carry out order and the girls working behind the counter would not get off their phone. This sucks because like it's behind my house (super convenient for me) but the service is not good at all- people would be better off going to another location.

Excellent experience all the way around. I went with a group of four other ladies and we all enjoyed our meals and the bread is amazing. We had an excellent waiter and everything went good. The place was obviously noisy because it was a week before Christmas and the place was packed, but service was good. Food was good and the atmosphere was awesome. I got the seafood pan roast and although it didn't have much seafood in it, it was very delicious and the sauce was amazing

Casual but nice ambiance. Kids welcome but not rowdy. Exceptional service. They're really on top of things. Always filling water and asking if we want more bread. When we got up to use the bathroom before our food came the bussers attempted to clean our table.My date left their sweater and the staff came to the parking lot to bring it to us. Food was top notch, as usual.

Pretty standard Kruse and Muer menu and experience. This menu is slightly more seafood based then say the Chophouse. The food is always delicious and high quality. They usually have about 5 chefs specials on top of the regular menu. They do an excellent job with gluten free options and preparation. While they do serve alcohol they do not have a full bar, so what is on the cocktail menu is it, however it is usually quite diverse and they have great wine selections!

The BEST Bread in all of Metro Detroit! The pizza is also fantastic and the fish is always fresh. They always run a great holiday gift card deal where if you buy $100 you get a $20 coupon, what a great deal!

First time being there and quite a disappointment. Sangria tasted like regular fruit juice, green beans were so crunchy and wondered if they were even cooked, clam chowder was barely warm, and the supposedly crunchy garlic toast in the seafood pan-roast was soft and stretchy. Won't be returning for sure :(!

I just don't know about the overall experience. I guess I will break it down and see how I come up with overall score:Good:- Good parking- seated promptly - the bread was very good, love crusty bread - good service Not as great:- I ordered the side salad that had a Faygo red pop vinaigrette. The dressing was pretty interesting and I did enjoy it. I was disappointed that the description of the salad had the very first item listed as peaches and there was one measly slice of peach on the salad.- I ordered salmon and whoever cooked must not like salmon. It was almost painfully over salted and over cooked. - rice pilaf had tomatoes on it...meh. Every single item comes with rice pilaf so I guess they have a vat of it sitting there ready to serve.

The food was fine, but the waiter, Brett D., added $10 to my $6 tip (on a $22 meal). My credit card flagged it, asking if I meant to give him a 43% tip.So that was not great. But then I called to tell the manager what happened, and the man said: "Well, I have to do my due diligence." And he never called me back with said due diligence. Brett adding ten dollars onto a customer's tip. So clearly, the management at K&M don't care about customer experiences.

Your food is over priced for one . The fish was dripping in grease.But after eating the calamari, it also was dripping in Grease . Also had a salad and that was not any good the lettuce was old and dressing wasn't good. The place was clean and staff very nice.
