Kit Chen Thai is pretty good, the food just isn't constantly good if that makes sense. A handful of times the food felt off or just tasted salty.

It's in the same shopping center as the shopper's world store. Grabbed some carry out tonight. It's a good night for carry out with the snow coming and going and small hail too. Ordered pad Thai with chicken, added steamed tofu and veggies, extra extra hot and a veggie curry with chicken, steamed tofu, no corn and medium spicy. Total was $29.66, takes 10 minutes to be ready. Small place. Some counter seats and a few tables. I see where half of my curry sauce went, it's all the bottom of the bag. They definitely need to work on their carry out packaging. It couldn't make an 11 minute drive home. Additionally the smarter thing would have been to put the saucy veggie curry on the bottom of the bag and the pad thai dry noodle dish on the top, no?The veggie curry sauce has good flavor, good amount of veggies, thankfully there was only 3 pieces of corn, not my favorite. Nice heat to the sauce too. The chicken is lean and the tofu are small cubed. The pad Thai noodle is decent, although it was probably about a medium plus, was not extra extra hot at all. Decent flavor.

I was looking for some Asian cuisine at my stay in Warren, MI. Used Yelp to find a close by restaurant, found this one, looked at their menu choices and got some of the best shrimp and chicken fried rice. Very reasonable and only a 5-10 minute wait.

Not impressed is the generalConsensus. $13 for bamboo shoots and coconut milk. To all Thai restaurant owners, if you must include bamboo shoots in your dishes, use them sparingly, not as if your making Thai Alfredo and the noodles are bamboo shoots. The sauce was light and the flavor was lacking. The upside was the egg plant I added to the dish. They use thai eggplant as opposed to Italian/middle eastern eggplant. I wouldn't recommend. I've been here a couple times when it's convenient. I avoid otherwise. Nice people inside. Decor is not impressive. I don't like leaving bad reviews but I do like to leave honest reviews. Amarin is a better choice as well as Terriyaki and Pho.

Saw this restaurant and really wanted to give it a shot being new to the area. The food was impressive. Very tasty chicken masaman and an order of chicken pad Thai. Very tasty, not too spicy. The staff here are super friendly. I will definitely be back to order more food.
