Great Indian buffet for $11.99. They did try to fill my box with mostly rice. That's a no for me . I asked them for just a little bit of bryani. Food was great. Many vegetarian options and they had shrimp masala. I've never seen that in a buffet before. Dine in is a little more $13.99 and a couple bucks more on the weekend. Overall great food.

Excellent take out for our first time. All items were as they should be. Portions were large and plentiful. We were given a container of the Special for the Day, compliments of the owner.Spice levels were good for me, but the mild were a little spicy for the family. May want to ask for no spice. Medium has a very nice kick. Breads were fresh and tasty. Great to papadums on the menu.

I am so grateful for this new Indian buffet in the area. I stopped by here in between a couple of appointments and was blown away that no one else was in here while I was here. This is probably the best Indian food I've ever had. The buffet has all the good stuff, including a fresh salad and watermelon to refresh your palette. I tried a little of almost everything, which I was glad to be able to do since they didn't have the buffet stocked with beef items - it was all vegetarian or chicken. The restaurant is quiet, the chairs and tables are clean and nice. The staff was very attentive and brought me a bowl of plain rice and naan to enjoy with my meal. Run, don't walk to get in here.

Kaveri is the best Indian restaurant in the Macomb/Oakland area. I moved to Shelby Twp. from Chicago a few years ago. I was fortunate to live near dozens of Indian restaurants in Chicago, and have been looking for a good one here. This is by far the best this area has to offer. They have a lunch buffet everyday except Monday. The weekend lunch buffets are really great. So much variety. New dishes every time I go. Everything seems high quality, and fresh. It has a great spice level, and not oily. Even the fried pakoras are fresh and don't smell or taste like old oil. I'm vegetarian, and love the large variety of vegetarian friendly dishes. The sambhar is great, as well as the bean and vegetable dishes. They have a variety of chutneys and desserts as well. The weekend buffet is a must try.

Four of us enjoyed the lunch buffet today. All the food was excellent. Really like that they brought our table fresh hot Nan bread, rice and Veg Biryani. Family who runs the restaurant was very friendly. Plan on going back again.

Great food. Was happy to see authentic and spicy food for those who prefer it. Great service. Came for the Saturday buffet and really enjoyed it. Naan was fresh cooked and came to the table hot. Loved the carrot chutney (spicy!) great service as well. Easy to miss in the strip of businesses as newer, so no large sign yet, just a small one in window, so use address on door to find the location.
